(though there is nothing wrong with being a n00b, we all start from there, but then again, I would like my expert to be - well - an expert!) LOLZ..
Still waiting for the update, though I don't think HTC will make us happy before January first week.

I called HTC tech support India today and they told me that there are no updates that has been released for desire HD and the update is only for desire S. Now... which is true????

AnonD-33984, 24 Dec 2011bro when i bought it .. it was fyoro then i go to setting .... moreBuddy, goto Setting>>About Phone>>Software Information and check the Android version. If it is 2.3.5 and the HTC Sense version is 3.0 then you have got the upgrade. Else if you are on 2.3.3 and Sense 2.1 then you are in the same boat as the rest of us.. :P
If it may help others, no update for IncS in India yet. I am at Mumbai and check for the update atleast twice a day! :P

Anything needs to be done to get this update.. Mine is a stock rom.. I did not flash or root until now...

Htc singapore says that
With reference to your query, after checking, kindly be informed that we have not received official information whether or when HTC Incredible S which shipped to South East Asia for sale will be upgraded to Android 2.3.4 and Sense 3.0 or not. But if there is news for it, it will be put on our official website www.htc.com/sea . It is suggested that you may check our site from time to time for any news. And from our side, if we receive any new information for it, we will also update to let you know. Thanks.

At&t software updates .. and there 2 things were present at&t software update 2, htc software update .. i chose htc and my phone update to gingerbread .. so any thing new ??? did i recive update ??

Yes, Arabic is Supported on ChaCha running 2.3.5.

Reporting 2.3.5 to hit middle east (egypt) for both DHD and CHACHA.
And YES, ARABIC Language is supported in chacha.
For my DHD:
-Sense 3.0 is wow on my screen
-Better Battery Life
-Total performance enhancement (you may need to factory reset to enjoy it)
