The 1GB of RAM has proven too limiting for a phone not running Android Go edition.

We have known this since the beta edition.
All who tried Oreo Beta, rolled back to Nougat.
Isn't there a way to give it to service and have it rooted with original Android Go ?

4GB RAM & 64GB Internal storage should be minimum requirements for phones in 2019. No more 2/3GB & 16/32GB options.

Stick to 32-bit, 64-bit gonna kill it faster.

The midrange Lumia 820 from 2013 shows you how old my original purchase is
Blackberry simply left it too late to launch a full touch phone with selfie camera in 2013 so that deputy flagship ( flagship was the Z30) plummeted but that 2013 phone was 2Gb

There should be a notification also that performances with 1Gb will hamper performance

Even Google Play Services app is eating 200mb alone.

Modern Android OS = more resource hog + more restriction + omitted internet permission.
I missed ICS & Froyo era.

This phone is a cluster fudge. I'm glad mine is only a backup phone in case I need one because it is completely useless for anything other than looking at the home screen. All apps will eventually crash due to lack of memory, Without exception.
