100,000 Apps and 90% of them are ancient/bad/ outdated and from those 90% almost half of them are mobile versions of various websites and blogs(badly to no designed).

to be fair n900, maemo, n9 have it own repositories, outside nokia store.

still symbian is not going a long way. may be wp7.5 in future. cant say. i personally discontinued the symbian. i am using n900 now with nitdroid too. and also my first android experience is nitdroid .honestly liked the android and android market. but cant live without maemo and my beautiful n900 :D.

I use an N8 and frequent the Nstore often. There are a lot of high quality apps and games available. Android just has more of the same. The hurdle is not having the 3rd parties iOS has, such as Cave. The tools are there, as a del can write in C++, Java or Qt Framework and any combination of them

To be honest, considering that all these apps are divided into s40, s60, s80, s^3, and MeeGo (as mentioned) compatible, the store doesn't really have many apps.
I have a s60 device (which is now considered "legacy") and I cannot download many worthwhile apps from the Ovi/Nokia store. Majority of them are java based, instead of native Symbian applications. Of course though, I'm sure the S^3 OS devices have several worthwhile applications, but they are still lacking in areas; they need more developers. :)

Noia will have some interesting moves, looks like Nokia want to buy RIM and other two brands also are going to release some new technologies, let's see but Nokia still making people talk abou it, WP7 is good but not excellent Apollo looks promisisng, Symbian S^3 will still kicking and looks brighter from many ways, Nokia has a very hard times for very bad desicions BUT is not a bad brand......
However the number of apps is good, they was groing in a little time, most of them aren't good, but is like in Android Market those are a really CRAPPY apps....

nokia is complete pump, 9/10 N8's i sold came back in with software issues, give up nokia, sell your shares, invest in wind power or something that might actually one day have a future.

Most of the Symbian quality of apps are really good. For example a lot of the top HD games are available on the Nokia Store, more than some might think.

Most of the apps are junk.
Still like my N8 - awesome phone - but the software side is lacking.
Might Opt for android or IOS (if i can get a cheaper Iphone) next

Does everyone know the new Nokia NFC game in Nokia belle? It's awesome. We can play multiplayer game. Ex : Smash mania, a badminton game that we can play with other just tap 2 nfc phone.

I think u all guys got it wrong..as far i know NOKIA is one of the best creation ever made.no other can compare THIS brand.offcorse every new creation need some time to get famous(in market).so wait guys..keep it up MEEGO.

thats true. all the applications available on OVI store are useless. they need to learn from Apple/Google while creating those. Appstore/Android/BB apps having really useful apps.
