23 December, 2011
All the customizations (TouchWiz and others) won't run well enough on the older hardware.

So stop whining and complaining, and buy an SE next time, instead of running like lemmings behind Samsung. You get what you paid for...

Sony Ericsson Live Walkman which is only USD 199 and way too inferior hardware than Galaxy S will get an ICS update.

Bad excuses samsung! Nice try though.

Why doesn't Samsung realize that we're already tired out of the damn TouchWiz! We need stock ICS!

I find Samsung's reason very unrealistic. Google had already announced that all devices running Gingerbread should have no problem with ICS. I think samsung must start to care more about their current customers. I will not buy another samsung if they do not release official ICS for my Galaxy S

I love my galaxy - running smoothly on CM7. Don't want to update my galaxy to ICS. I don't think I need to update the firmware.

Talk of a perfect excuse. There's no way to prove they're just ditching their users.

I don't buy those though. If the sgs hardware is good enough to run hd games lag free, it shouldn't have trouble with a common UI. Plus i thought ics was supposed to be more efficient than the previous.
