[deleted post]you can download ROMs from samfirmware and use odin to flash. The updates are there. We dont get them in india for some reason.

[deleted post]Yes, they indeed are poor.
However they just released a ROM for us today, XWKL1, you can download it via CheckFus Downloader or from Sammobile, it will be available officially via Kies within a week I am sure.

LG took a decade to release GB for us, expect huge delays on this schedule.

Q2 and Q3!!!???? You have to wonder what they are doing which requires between 3 and 9 MONTHS to put ICS on their phones. I've gone Nexus, and I may well never go back simply because of garbage like this.

[deleted post]Atleast they're getting it. Even the single core Black! Not like Samsung Galaxy S, which is capable enough but still wont get it (officially).

i didnt buy a "high end" product from lg to be treated like this. how can samsung get ics in jan and get 1 phone with it THIS YEAR on the market and lg is only able to release it only in q2?

i didnt spend money to be treated like this, i regret buying their device.

GSMARENA rightly said that Lg announced first dual core phone but updates its phones at the last. HTC, Samsung, SE all giving ICS in first quarter but only LG giving ICS in 2nd and 3rd quarter.

Thats why nobody buys LG. Prices of LG mobiles are not stable.

better because more lg phones will get it then samsung or htc, try to understand what you are reading. sony also said 2nd quarter, and htc and samsung didn't yet post exact dates so no proof they will get it in 1st quarter either.
