andi, 31 Mar 2012Same thing what happened to Nokia and I'm sure they don't h... moreNokia is a million times bigger than RIM. Nokia is the biggest phone manufacturer in the world, they have 132,000 employees, sales in 150 countries worldwide, over 600,000 retail outlets worldwide and almost no presence in the United States. There is no bigger partner to get in the mobile phone industry than Nokia.
Companies like RIM and Motorola are tiny little manufacturers next to Nokia. By US perspective getting RIM or Moto might seem like a big deal, but compared to Nokia they would do nothing to solidify Windows Phone as a top platform.

First of all they are overpriced. Companies are still shuving these BB employees throats ... and my biggest problem with BB is that it doesn't allow use of VOIP. Skype is a big problem to be installed at least in Czech republic. Viber is another one which did not come yet .. before they wanted to stop these VOIP clients so that we use only the telecom network for calls - so that we pay our bills nicely ... biggest frustration

My preference is to use a keyboard than a touch screen. Despite of all the frantic anti BB postings I consider the 9900 just fine for me. In fact it is great. I also have a Note which is also good for viewing documents, however the BB is far better in terms of voice clarity and reception. Given I text a lot and use emails on the go, the BB is the only device on the market to have for this purpose. If you are interested in social networking or just playing games, I suggest you get out of bed and get a life.

The remaining 1,000 workers in Finland has already announced to be sacked (or already been sacked) and their Finland factory will be closed down because every year for the last few years they lost millions and millions euro.

what they need to do is relise that the consumer market is not the business market and not just to replace consumers phones when they come in faults and to try to fix them which costs them so much money because the consumer market has grown enough that there replacements are now surplusing there sales which means they are loosing money. this would help improve revenue and to start to update there technology more the bold 9900 is an amazing phone if it had dual core chip set it would be even better. they need to see the difference between the two markets

?, 30 Mar 2012It is unbelievable how some people speak without having any... moredo you know a reason why lots of people hate BB and want BB to die, but not with other brand.

BB have created an 'EXCLUSIVE CLUB'. If you want to BBM with your friend, you need to use BB to be EXCLUSIVE. That's the reason many of non-BB user hate BB and wish BB to die.

Whereas in other phone brand, no one have a reason for it to die even when they hate it.

So, it's BB fault by playing 'if you don't join BB, you can't BBM'.

Thenonlynreal surprise is that they are surprised about the results. 1. The very reason why they were popular has become their biggest constraint. BBM is not cross platform and here is maybe news to RIM board - people do not want to be disconnected. 2. Your corporate users use MS Exhange - What a mission to setupman exchange acount. 3. Innovation department and the rest of the company has been hiding behind the success of BBM. 4. The price of the handset too expensive. 5. . BB has become the phone of choice for teenybobbers and yet Now it seems that you are turning your back on the market that saved your hide. The board (that isnthe guys who ARE NOT INVOLVED IN TECH with the clever corpororate speak, make them buy the competitors phones and let them use it for everything. Hopefully then they will get it. MESSAGE TO THE BOARD OF RIM Get out of the boardroom and het into the lab. Phones are not just phones. If the market has to explain the results you probably would jot understand.
