Nokia lumia 900 is selling like hot cakes here in Papua.
Almost all Papua people are using lumia 900.
Lumia 900 is very popular in Papua.

ATTENTION GSMArena: Headline should be "..., the Philippines 'GETS' it first". "Philippines" is singular noun. Without the suffix letter "s" is the adjective way of using the word, like "Philippine Anthem" or "Philippine Peso". I hope that helps. :)

It's great to hear that Nokia's bringing their WPs here. I've been using this HTC Touch Viva for 2 years now and I've been very happy with it. When the first WP7 came out, I immediately became a fan of it. I like the integration of Social Media in WP7. And as a recent user of Windows 8, I'm completely blown away how fast the OS is and I wanna experience that as well with my phone. I think it's gonna be a very good entry level WP. It doesn't matter as well if you are using an entry level phone. As long as fits your need, then you should be okay.
