Hey I am a Filipino and I am proud of it. It is quite energizing that Philippines will be the first Asian country to get the lumia 610. Since it does not costs so much, then it could be a hit here. Even though I use android, I still want to get this device into my hands. If ever I'll be amazed by windows os, I could end up buying the lumia 800. Hmm

No, I'm not quite interested with that phone... With the price bout MYR760, I prefer Symbian/Nokia than Windows Mobile...

I ain't buying a phone that will not be released in my country first........ And I urge all my countrymen/women to buy anything else but not the Lumia 610 when it will be launched in my country.
They dared to ignore our beloved country and launched in other countries....... No pay the Price.

€189 is about $248. still too pricey.
drop below $200 and it can compete with android (or even blackberry, lol).

Very good design for a smartphone nowadays. If Nokia strives to bring better cellphones, then they'll survive. Hopefully. Go Philippines!!

here in the philippines, when nokia advertises something, the product is always a hit.

bogs, 19 Apr 2012hello! it's symbian that rules in the philippines, not andr... morei think it's android now. just observe how many cheap samsung and lg android phones are out there. galaxy y, ace, mini. my classmates have these. and i have xperia mini pro :). but i think they bought it not because it's android but because it's cheap and it's touch screen. they barely have knowledge about their phone when i ask them about their phones os and specs lol.

Filipinos, even in the lower class citizen, are striving to get their hands on android.
