BTW you never saw symbian belle in your life or even Anna, Symbian lags yes on older device say in 2007 not now, even old Android use to lag or they still lags on low-end hardware
if you like Android phone go get one but what it has to do with Firmware released for Nokia phone

And again yes Symbian lags and i don't have to use new one anymore thank god for Google releasing such great OS Android which is the best selling OS now even surpassed IOS.

I have tried a Symbian N8, it's laggy. I have tried many android phones including Galaxy S2, they are all laggy and buggy. iPhone 4S and Lumia 900 are smooth.

you cannot accept the fact that most android phones are lagging all the time.

This is Nokia 808 running on Symbian, if you don`t like it be sure they didn't make for u,so don't compare it with iOS or Android because it not the same,there is no point in having dual core or quad if you don't have apps for it,they will still run on single core,Symbian has similar speed with single core and much better standby than most of high end phones.
FYI i have Android at the moment but had at least 20 phones before this from all manufacturers and OS`es

Galaxy SL you never tried it so just stop lying i tried Symbian before i moved to Android, Symbian lags so much and its way behind Android, Android feels so much right and better in everything.

One possible reason why your Samsung galaxy sl lags is because Samsung has badly optimised its Touchwiz UI. The reason why many Samsung phones (Galaxy W, etc..) can't receive further updates is because Touchwiz is bulky and not run smoothly. I guarantee you once you install a custom ROM (like Cyanogen)there will be no lag at all. However, what I've observed is that Sony's custom UI (Timescape) is a lot lighter and runs swiftly, which makes it capable of further android versions easily. I hope this helps.

Popiteal, 24 Jun 2012Symbian OS is laggy and you know it but you want to cover f... moreyou are referring to old symbian OS versions..which i admit were laggy & buggy...but now, nokia refined their OS and renamed it to Belle OS...& it gets much better because it is upgraded to Belle Feature Pack 1...try to see the video reviews....
i know android UI is smooth because of high speed CPU or multiple CPU. e.g. 1ghz, dual 1ghz, quadcore, so on...but compare it to belle OS in N8(680mhz), N701(1ghz or Fp1=1.3ghz)& N808PV(1.3ghz)...both OS are on par with each other but with a big difference in processing efficiency & power consumption....

come'n.. it lags every time, i never enjoyed playing temple run on it.. i never enjoyed browsing and the swiping the UI because it stops working all the time. it never happened on my previous n8 running belle and most probably, on my current 1st gen windows phone which is older than the galaxy..
android is a power hunger
