No need to fight and compare one with another. They all have cons and pros and everyone has their own preferences.

If you don't like this phone I don't know why you visited this page in the first place coz this is not the first post for this phone.. so you already knew what this phone was about. PV808 is in a class of it's own.

I love to shoot a lot. PV808 offers a great quality in a pockey build. I am planning to buy PV808 and a Note 10.1 like to write stuffs too.

Instead of having a dedicated cam and a smartphone, it's better to have PV808 which fits in a pocket and i think it's also more economical. Of course for professional work you need full DSLR cam. This is for photographic and video enthusiasts who would love to have quality photos and videos.

Find a samsung phone (or any brand running android for that matter) with the same clockspeed/CPU and RAM as the PV 808 and compare the speed and fluidity.

According to Olympus there is no way for Nokia to produce such a huge image 41MP in such a small sensor in the 808 PureView. Any comment?

I wonder why people comparing this phone to DSLR? It' s the best camera phone till date. Remember it's a phone. Samy has quad core processor. Just thought if I compare it with my intel i7, who will be the winner? HD sreen? It' s nothing to my HDTV. Just stop bashing, and accept the innovation. By the I am not any brand fanboy. I love new technology. It doesn't matter to me which company it is?

Who needs 34 or 38MP photos? Well if I find myself on a holiday in a place that isn't so convenient to visit once again and I've got no DSLR but only the 808 - if a good shot is possible at 34+MP, why not take it? It'll be a shot that can be saved digitally and even printed for posterity's sake.

On the other hand, Android/iOS is all about the "apps" and internet connectivity. Truth is, just how much of these are relevant and necessary to our daily life? Do you need them all the time? If so then get Android or iOS by all means, and this doesn't mean that Nokia can't do a decent job either.

In the 808, it's all about the hardware of the camera unit. That stays with you, unlike software which continually changes. A good picture stays with you, unlike apps, games, social networks and other fads that slowly become outdated over time. They can be important, yes, but I don't see why there's a need to utterly excel in only these areas.

I like nokia because of the stellar build quality.

how many memes have you seen about the durability of an iPhone or a Samsung phone?

all nokia. "fall to the floor break the floor"

anyone that tries to bash nokia are just haters who wished their phones were nokias just with android or apple branding.

Numerous times have I seen DSLR on the comments. The Nokia PV 808 is a convergence device so naturally it shouldn't replace your dedicated devices on their own turf but based on reviews and blind tests it has proven that innate theory wrong. It beat an EVIL cam in many occasions and hold it's own against high-tier DSLR in some instances, well of course it'll be futile to compare it with a full manually set DSLR but you know what I mean. Your not toying around your DSLR all the time, I can't even think of bringing it all the time like a camphone. My point here is the 808 is an innovation that was made by Nokia for us consumers because we deserve this technology. A smartphone and a very-capable-that-can-beat-most-P&S camera in one. It's an amazing camera with smartphone functionality, why bash it and not appreciate true innovation?
