Google pulls the Galaxy Nexus from the Play Store in the US

04 July, 2012
Although no official reason has been given, this is likely due to the ban enforced by Apple.

This make me HATE Apple even more! More and more people realize Apple's selfishness and pretty soon their enemy are the customers instead.

Why not just offer the handset to other countries then? With the recent price cut and the sure-ball upgrade to 4.1, people from other countries are gonna get it in droves.

So please, Samsung and Google, please make this available in the PH with the $349 price. One of our carriers here, Smart, does not seem to care and is still selling it at double the current price (roughly $700).

If this is because of the Apple ban it's bad for the industry overall. Competition is important, it means that handset manufacturers have to keep working harder which would benefit us, the consumers. I'd prefer Apple to go back to the drawing board and spend their resources to create better devices instead of hand over those millions to their legal team and slow down the progress of their competitors instead.
