I've got the note, got the same issues. ICS didn't fix it. One of the big issues of this nice phone.

Hell yeah! That's why I sold mine.
Samsung's pushing the display technology much...but failed. And it's only NOW you brought it up?

Are you kidding? This issue is only discovered now? I have been having this issue for months, always happens when dark videos are played. And as always, I ignored this. Well, at least glad that they might look into it now

the problem for this issue is the screen itself.not related to software.as i read from xda forum and watching the video.

That's why I prefer LCD. Amoled sure nice and lively, but produce inaccurate color, colder white balance and being an Organic means higher defect rate than LCD.

What to expect from Samsung - no quality products but I have to admit Samsung washing machine is really nice.

To do an accurate test, you have to play a dark video in a pitch black room.

As much as I love Samsung products and Super AMOLED screens, I hope they address this issue soon. The Note is a great handset. I'm eagerly waiting for the Note 2 to come out. I love that big screen, but it needs quality to match the size.
