5" is the ultimate size for smartphone.Bigger screen than this is uncomfortable to carry and use.

Much as I'm a big fan of Samsung and I regard my SGS3 as the best piece of modern technology I've ever owned,I really don't get this as being innovative? The same as Nokia being crowned the king of innovation by cramming a 41mp camera into a mobile phone when all they're doing is jumping on the "more pixels sells more handsets" bandwagon.There really is no need for anything above 300 PPI,I'd say that to be REALLY innovative would be to stop at where it becomes pointless to go any further and show the world that you're cleverer than the rest of them.
And who ever said you need anything up to a 16mp camera to make full use of a proper HD hand held mobile phone doesn't understand how digital imaging REALLY works.I hope that next year for the Galaxy S4 (I have to wait until the year after until I can upgrade again to the Galaxy S5)they stay with an 8mp sensor to show how they can be really innovative (more than enough in a mobile phone) but improve the quality of the optics and things such dynamic range.

Samsung, you must work on camera lens and try overshadow Nokia even on camera quality. Otherwise I stay with boring Nokia, because I liked photo quality over other thinks. But believe how boring my Nokia N8... :(
I urgently need Samsung with better lens sensor that Nokia had. Please Samsung, I waiting moment to go into your arms, I nod asking a lot, I need from you new Samsung Galaxy S IV camera KING!

Well, it seems like a 5" fullhd 1080p screen will be the standard for all smartphones in the year 2013. It's now obvious that the era of the phablet is about to begin. But instead of producing such huge screens for a smartphone, they could produce higher capacity batteries.

Really really great!!!.I agree and even hope,with every upgrading and innovation in every thing and mostly in technology!,(so really compliments for Samsung and all the others!).and I hope to see it in the SGS 4,and I agree with the 5inch display to,but that must be the Lust upgrading in the screen size of the smartphone's,otherwise one should buy a tablet!!!!,and they even have to take the .2inch more not from the body size,but from the bezil,because the size of the galaxy s3 is already the maximum size that i can bring with me in my pocket!!!.but again,if it is Just from the bezil so it's okay and great!!!.and I don't agree with the comment that state's ,that an 5or 8MP camera is enough,enough for him and for all the other's that think like him,but for me and for all the other's like me not!,because I already have 8MP in the SGS 3,but am waiting and hope for the SGS 4 to have at least 14MP!,and hopefully even 16MP!!!,and it will really be extremely great on this fullHD display!!!!!.but no the other hand I agree that mention about the battery,because they really must start to make them bigger!!!(not as a size but obviously as a power!!!!).so hope for the better with this great fullHD (1080p) display!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great!! Good for Video watching, but i really want 1100p which is aspect ratio of 16:10 rather than 1080p and 16:9. 16:10 aspect ratio is good for text reading and the right balance for reading and video. I dont know why manufacturers ignore that aspect ratio

They might put a 5" screen on the Galaxy S4. I wouldn't be surprised since the screens have been getting larger and larger. I wouldn't mind it either because my pockets aren't shallow. I guess we'll have to wait till February or March to see what's up. Can't wait.
