I m sorry for those who do not comprehend the viewing quality between 720p and 1080p, i only wish them to use each and every one for a month, first 1080p and then pass to 720p, so then that would suffice their curiosity, is by far no overkill only progress.

Daro, 23 Oct 2012That screen should need a 4000mah batteryThese new displays drain a lot less power than a similar sized one from the previous generation

It's good for marketing purposes, in the real world these screens have only disadvantages! but stupid kids will love it.

There's no chance Samsung could make FULL HD Amoled screen. Samsung has "a problem" because their AMOLED technology is nowhere near LCD RGB 1080p. I don't think the're even able to make a PenTile FULL HD screen at ~5 inches.

it should be a note, its to odd to see a mobile phone with an inch of 5 lol,

identical phones are most likely found in samsung, they only changed the name..fail

Tom, 23 Oct 2012What's the point of having 1080p mobile display....I don't ... moreWell, a native 1080p resolution would allow you to see FullHD movies unscaled, so it theory they should look crisper. But in practice you won't notice the difference on that tiny screen anyway. The only reason Samsung is doing it is because others did it already and now the trolls are complaining about the low PPI of the regular HD displays. And it will allow them to troll Apple for not having even a regular HD display on the iPhone :p
