TrueToYourself, 23 Oct 2012I don't think it's a case of Samsung copying, as such. It's... moreWell we all know that competition drives the latest trends in d industry n Samsung had 2 join the 1080p band wagon as other companies had alrdy done so or else the masses won't buy their products! However, dear Samsung, (Cr)Apple, HTC, Sony, Motorola (ur d 1 with the lead, i guess), LG, Huawei, NOkia, Acer, Asus n all the other major players in the smartphone arena is it too hard 2 improve the BATTERY of your smart devices??? Y'all are smart folks n can smartly improve all the other specs of your smart gadgets, im sure improving the battery life wud be 1 of the smartest moves y'all ever make! Savvy?

I think these devices are getting too big. 4.7" is the maximum a normal human man can handle.

On a display as big as on the Note II, you sure can tell the difference... 1080p however is over the top.
But to stay within standards full HD is probably better than anything in between.
But they do need another boost in battery performance.

AnonD-32667, 23 Oct 2012Oh when will a 6 inch phone come out... Is it still a phablet.A 5 inch device is still considered as a phone, but a 6 inch display device will be considered as a phablet, because it's too big to use it as a phone.

I don't think it's a case of Samsung copying, as such. It's a bit like cameras. More megapixels doesn't always equal better quality. In many cases, it makes the image *worse*. However, for Jo Consumer, 'more' equals 'better'. Therefore, I suspect all phone manufacturers will produce 1080p screens to avoid their phones being overlooked as 'inferior'. We know better ....
