----... moreyou're wrong, nokia's biggest mistake wasn't to join forces with microsoft, infact that was probably the best move they could have made. The first rule in business inorder to gaurenttee your success is to engage in a monopoly, NOT enter a market that has MORE competition. Nokia would have been getting raped worse right now cause they would be facing HTC, Samsung, Asus, Acer, LG, Sony, and Motorola.
Nokia would have been way lower now had they gone with android.
The worst decision nokia made was to drop BOTH meego and symbian. They should have kept the meego project running alongside microsoft.
Regardless, they are the only brave and true mobile company out there. Atleast they didn't take the pansy sissy way out and jump on the same boat with all the other OEMs for a free ride. i.e. just hardware design.
Hail nokia, hail microsoft, hail those who want to build thier success from the bottom to the top.

Really? lol
That's why Nokia is falling down deeper and deeper with every year? Taking Windows OS was Nokia biggest mistake. And they will pay for that painful price.... Actually they are paying right now. And you can say "big" thank you to CEO....... sad...

Why is it that people think Android is the answer? Nokia knows Windows - due to its power in the PC and business market - is the future of mobile computing.
Android is a mobile OS (and not a good one to be honest) but Windows is an entire ecosystem.

Slim, translucent/see through and no screen borders...Could some company invest on this designs...this would be a breakthrough on the smartphone world.

If microsoft do this then it is a giant kick in the nuts for Nokia - who have pretty much staked their future as a smart phone manufacturer on being solely WP.
Nokia need to give Elop the boot and get into the Android market as soon as possible.

Microsoft makes good hardware and pricing is key. Like someone rightly said, they should make a 4.7-5.3" device and price it like the LG Nexus 4.
If they make a 16Gb version that can be priced at under $400, I am sure that they will make massive sales.

Apple should have cocentratted on thier forte... i.e. making computers, look at them now. Google should hve concentrated on thier forte...i.e. search engines, look at them now.
and not to mention, if you look at the microsoft surface, it is BEYOND ANY tablet out right now. Not just software-wise, but quality-wise as well.
maybe its about time you stop sticking to your forte? i.e. being a close-minded pesimist?

I wish it would be for the same price as the nexus 4, this would be cool, MS having it's own nexus-like brand so we would see real competition between MS and google, both making the best devices for as cheap as possible
