AnonD-38989, 07 Dec 2012stop buying the 16 gig stuck htc droid dna!The Droid Dna has only 16gb because Verizon told htc that they couldn't go higher so HTC is not to blame there. This is not the Droid Dna but the Butterfly so there will be more than 16gb storage and there will be a sd card slot.

It's better to wait on the Sony Yuga/Odin to release in Europe.. Speculations say 3200-2800 battery life and sd slot up to 64 gb. Or wait for the galaxy S4..

The only pros in droid dna was card slot but in butterfly there is no pros, making it the only smartphone in the world, there is no denying that it is the best smartphone in the world

half_21, 07 Dec 2012is the sony yuga going to have an sd card slot? if it would... moreYes, both Sony Yuga and Odin has SD card slot. I am waiting for Sony Yuga to replace my Xperia S. Sony is going to use shatter-proof glass back and really slim body and lightweight.

Since its N/A and japanese sibling have non-removable batteries I guess this will also be the case for this. And I was even thinking to buy this instead of the oppo find 5... (p.s. find5 has removable battery of 2500mAh + all the other hardware features of butterfly and comes with 4.1.2 android and at least 100euro lower price)

AnonD-39343, 07 Dec 2012i think you re not a real note 2 owner or just a hater. the... moreI had my note 2 run dry on a few occasions, especially if there has been some gaming during the day.

And read my posts before you get on your high horse, im saying the battery is good, but in other phones it is not, except some underpowered android phones like teh MAXX. If u had a normally developed cortex you would see that im using Note 2 as an example of a good battery that also can run dry with heavy usage.

Yes, heavy usage, if you get 2 days out of your Note 2 then you are not a heavy user. The only times i had plenty juice left in the evening are the days i slept off the hangover till the evening after coming home from party in the morning.

I would not mind having better battery.

I am surprized with low storage memory, 16GB and battery size, considering the screen. Looks like I will opt for the One X+, seems a little better.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2012Note 2 has 3100 .. compare to sony? 2800? i have a feeling ... moreIm not disappointed with the Note 2 battery, what i am saying is the same as most others who dont like 2020mAh battery, WE WANT A BATTERY THAT CAN LAST THE DAY COMFORTABLY.

I remember when the battery life results of Droid Dna was published in the blog here, i read it and then i see in teh comments that some people are actually exited, but exited about what? That was a very mediocre and average result, and in this context average means insufficient, because almost all smartphones of today are insufficient, Note 2 is the only powerful unit with a sufficient battery.

I dont think i will be disappointed with the Yuga either, IF it really has that big battery. It uses the same chipset as Butterfly so power saving functions should be good, and then it will further save on the battery through WhiteMagic technology similar to the one found in Xperia P (4 subpixels per pixel). Im not too exited about whitemagic but hopefully it doesnt affect image quality in any way.

finally HTC learned from their mistakes :D

AnonD-85006, 07 Dec 2012Will get it if it is out till January, or it's Lumia 920 then.Sony will announce the Yuga in January, thats what i am looking forward to. No more HTC sense for me, i dont need unreliable phones, since they are, well, unreliable.

And Butterfly with its small battery, 1 hour less than SGS3 is how many hours less than my Note 2? Note 2 cannot last through the day and evening on the longest days. Real life usage is very different from GSMArenas test with ultralight usage. Sony Yuga is rumored to have a 2800mAh battery, sounds like a worthy successor of the Note 2 for me.
