Galaxy S II and Note to get 4.1.2 Jelly Bean in January

Well ill tell the main features introduced along with 4.1.2...Funny thing is My note 2 is 4.1.1 while that Old S2 of myn is 4.1.2...hahaha...like almost 2 years old...ok...Nature UX(upgraded touchwiz UI), Pop up Play, Smart stay, Direct call, Alot of motions like panning a image when browsing...Buttery smooth UI...trust me I got zero lags and crashes until now...I had alot with gingerbread and ICS reduced a bit where as JB cleared all and google has done a great job ...Also uses less Ram...S3 Lockscreen without ripple effect. ..Almost all S3 widgets...New settings with home screen mode and developer options lile blocking mode...New Notification toggle and rich notifications..all customizable with brightness control...New S3 apps..Chat on, Group cast..50GB dropboxm.Nature water sounds on touch..and Amazing new gallery with awesome transition effects...u shuld try...Jelly bean 4.1.2 was a very huge upgrade. .almost forgot..u get Google now too...

hahahaha...guys dont wait soo long...just google or visit xdadevelopers forum and update to 4.1.2..I did like 1 month ago...even before samsungs test leaked firmware xda guys culd get the package files directly and give us...its awesome...I never got ICS either from Kies...it sucks...it always says ur phone dsnt support upgrading via kies...

Won't bother updating. Great to still have a device that can run flash.

Just get pure jellybean flavore by Cyanogen Mod 10.1 for the S2 running 4.2.1 Im using the nightlies and so far so good. samsung will take for ever.

FloJitz, 18 Dec 2012I got tired of waitig and rooted my s2 to jelly bean bean l... morewhich steps did you follow? can you provide a link? i found one but it says there are some features that might not work with ur device. mine is a tab 7.0 plus p6200. i cld've rooted it but it says some features may not function well with the jb update. tnx

any news on p6200 tab 7.0 plus? the only jb update i can find is for brazil. my kies software sucks though lol. hope the tab 7.0 plus will get jb update.

That's one of the reason why am not with Htc anymore. Samsung you rock!!!! Proud S3 JB 4.1.1 user. Samusung i hope that the 4.1.2 or 4.2(With multiview) come to the North americain S3
