I for one never have lag, but if som... morethis guy, that guy, those guys. pwe! why are you relying on those guys? well i guess you're the person who likes to listen to hearsays. but in this article, you turned out to be those WP haters who're bashing or talking nonsense. and i have observed that you always defend your Android WHEN you already referring to yourself. i'm a long time Nokia user, tried iPhone4 2yrs ago, had an N9 last year and finally an S3 this year. i don't want to compare these phones because they have their own ups and downs so it is nonsense to do what you're doing right now. i'll do the same if i were you. GROW UP!

On the other hand, that guy has 5GB of wasted space on his phone. On the forums about the problem so people say that their memory is full and cannot use he phone anymore. So, I would not touch a WP probe with a 10 feet pole. I rather get an iPhone if I would be unhappy with the SGS 3. IF!

X, 11 Jan 2013I don't think SOME lag as you say is such a big problem com... moreso you choose lag? haha pity of you. well, i don't use much of my memory because i have my laptop with me so definitely free memory is not an issue. THESE LAGS i'm talking about can cause your phone to function slower and you have your apps crashing. so that's okay with you? haha why would you download apps when you're going to uninstall it then? no matter if its on your SD card. OUR S3 is just famous, but definitely when it comes to user ratings, naah. nevermind.

its not that i hate windows OS (be in phone or pc) but i hate those policy makers of the company.one of my first smartphone was a Windows one from HTC having windows mobile 6.5(as known then). it was gr8 with occassional hiccups but i liked it. used and abused the OS like putty in hand :) but all of a sudden windows stopped supporting the OS killing its marketplace bla bla bla forcing upon us windows phone 7. (similar as windows phone 7 to windows phone 8 transition )THIS IS WHAT I HATE OF MICROSOFT..specializing in arm- twisting methods..i have no grudge against NOKIA,but it aint my fave brand too..but i do hope they recover coz more competition means more innovation more options..hope nokia looks into Android too later when their marriage to Windows ends.

It would not hurt if MS will acknowledge the problem and fix it.

Hope u wid have received it. For sudden death issue it seems another fix would come after they had identified the problem. Until the time, the fix they offer is to replace the motherboard of your phone :) me being a WP user who hates WP bashers would inspite would help u here!

So b content with what u have and talk technology and related to topic. When there are issues Nokia and MS generally accept like all others do. That is shown from their firmware update•2 for wp8. So I kindly request you to curb hate and see things from positive light. Else if u want it the other way...ppl are ready to tail behind your every comments ;) choose the best one:)

And the article said that only VERY FEW users were affected. MS and Nokia are mute about the "Other" space. I'm not trolling, was just replying to an exuberant Nokia fan:).

AnonD-31621, 11 Jan 2013and why do i have to provide a link for you when i myself, ... moreI don't think SOME lag as you say is such a big problem compared with loosing GB's of memory that you can't recover except if you flash the phone(BTW, you can't install apps on the SD card in WP, in Android you can).
Given the choice I would choose SOME lag over regularly flashing the phone to be able to use it.
Also I'm curious if you have the stock JB or a custom ROM. Or if you have some lag while using the 3G network, that might be the fault of the 3G network.
