Also mate, two things:
1) You cannot really hear calling anyone from under the water. Usually.
2) You cannot use it. The touch screen does NOT work under water.
So yeah, you can put it in the water... aaannnd that's all :(
Also all samsung phones are water-resistant. Not water-proof because not a lot of people bath their mobiles. But water proof. Check youtube for SIII and Note2 water resistance tests.

I'm using an Iphone 4 now.
thinking of buying this S4.
most of my friend are using samsung
really like the NFC thing...
I guess this represent the 40% of why...

It will be a huge hit to those who don't own an s3 before. This is better than ip5 so another people will buy it and will add to 50m s3 users...

I always going to prefer One over Z & S4 Over one so the final phone for me is S4.
Its simple One + Z = S4
looks of S4 is not awesome but its not worst also [ I found its better then S3 n Note 2 ]. Check all features on S4 & all accessories.

I don't understand why you guys fighting
I'm the biggest Sony Fan ever, and i can say that the S4 is a masterpiece. Eye Scrolling, 2 Quad core procesors, 2600 mAh batery, i don't realy know all new features but it's pretty good.
Yes, the Floating touch tech was used by Sony last year with the Xperia Sola, but we're not Apple, right ?? We don't sue people for using our tech .. :)
One disapointing point is the design, even if they had to do one creepy design like every year ( No offence ), they should have did it, that's the originality ...
Last year, Samsung owned with their S3, but this year, the battle will be harder, with the Xperia Z and HTC One
So, may the best win =)

What really makes the Galaxy S series so successful is the user experience, people like to show off what they can do with their devices, stuff like Dual View, Air View and Smart Scroll. If they wanted something good looking or has a premium feel, they'd go for the Xperia Z or the i5, but no, they'll go for the S4 which wil undoubtedly be a huge success.

I bought my S2 during it launch...satisfied..skip the S3 so S4 will be a good upgrade. Still not buying iphone due to the screen feel much smaller now. Only minus it is not waterproof as xperia z which I earlier considering to buy. I think its the way to go as we carry and use smartphone everywhere we go. Sony brand is just to square to hold.

Actually the Z does not register touch input under water, so I wouldn't call that functional.

I don't understand why all these stupid comments.
There's no phone on the market that can match the S4.
The xperia Z is a nexus 4 in a different housing and water proof (come on! people swim with their phones nowadays :)
bad screen, bad sound quality and a laggy xperia launcher..not a single software trick.
Htc one is a mix of iphone 5 and xperia P with a an aluminium body but nothing special inside..bad battery, Htc has never had a good camera or sound quality.
Sense UI is a mess, laggy and heavy.
This S4 will break all the records...just wait and see!
