Everyone I speak to regarding upgrades or new deals mentions the s4. Some mention the xperia z occasionally. No-one mentions the htc one though, which is a share,e as that's my favourite one

I am definitely confused now. Torn between looks and performance. I love the HTC Sense over Touchwiz, but the raw brutal power of GS4 is superior over HTC One.

Expose it and it will get all the chips and scratches. So, phones with glass and metal bodies are useless. What matters is the beast within.

Phones now days only stay on top of the pile for about 6 months..
However, its hard to argue that the SGS4 isn't the best phone available along with the Xperia Z and the G pro.

Wish I could buy the one or z but I cant just bear spending my hard earned dough on a phone just cos of build quality (which i will get a plastic case to protect anyway) when I know there is a better phone on performance and not really ugly out there. Cant just justify that and I think that same for most pple that work for their money. Thats why s4 will stil be a success.

Apples style was to make a few hardware changes and keep the software and levels of innovativity low.
Sammy has done the exact opposite.
They've improved hardware significantly: Faster and more efficient CPU chip with Exynos 5410 and superior GPU with the SGX 544mp3. The phone is slightly more premium with the metallic casing and less bezel.
Upgraded camera not just 13MP but also many new camera software additions.
New software niceties like Eye Scroll, Smart Pause, Air Hovering Gester, S-Health/S translator etc the last two seem cheesy but in reality they're very useful in their own regards.
The new screen is also a beauty..5" SuperAmoled. More brighter, sharper and better then ever.
Sammy has looked to innovate and they've done a great job. Don't compare them to apple, please.

Further, people who are saying gs4 has octa core its gonna be so fast!
i dont think there is really is much difference between a quad core speed and octa's.
also, gs4's octa core wont run all the 8 cores at the same time.
and also, since there are 8 cores , maybe battery will drain out quick? Can anyone please tell me whether i am right or not?

I was using iPhone last few years. I still like iPhones, but S4 is far better and what is important - battery life. Really hope that one on S4 will be better than on S3 and iPhone`s. And design is amazing - big screen with small frame.
