If they go for a 5.9 display the body will be the same and perhapes a bit thinner. I have the Note 2 and had Note so i have owned one since the day the Note series came out. Note 2 is on the limit of how big a phone can be...BTW i LOVE the Notes series

This is the reason why I would love to wait for Note 3! We can truly appreciate the Full HD 1080p on a 5.9" screen! Because below 5" screens won't have much difference between 720p or 1080p. But for 5.9" it's going to be phenomenal!

O.k they mey 5"9 but thats not a phone.Thats a phablet or tablet whatever.So every compare in future with galaxy line of phones is apsurd.

this will be my next phone. 5.9" is just right for a phablet. its a "PHABLET". im a small person but i find the size just right.

the will just use the same techniques as in the galaxy s4, the phone will no doubt be the same size as the Note 2, they will just reduce the bezel and move things like speaker and home buttons closer to the edge, the S4 is actually smaller then the s3 in width and thickness, and is exactly the same height, so it will not be a problem, note 2 owners will not see a difference i bet if they are used to using this, me personally do not like, there to big, i just can't imagine using something that big, but it is still a awesome piece of kit... it will no doubt not be able to increase after this in size as it is then really just a small tablet.

Anyway it is not all bad, note 2 has magnesium interior, very strong compared to other Samsung's, but it would be a good idea to increase the exterior qualities, remove the cheap feel. But it's not gonna happen.

Samsung can do this with eliminating the two side bezels and creeping up the screen towards the top. The earpiece would probably be pushed to the top edge. I won't mind if the physical button disappears.

I think they should stick with the 5.5" screen. Thats the sweet spot.

If you do a few sums... Using the s4 bezels the note 3 will be 0.5 mm wider than the note 2.

I own the Galaxy note 2 and it is a great phone.
A 5.9 will be great - I will buy it.
What is needed are
1) DUAL SIM
2) Battery 4500 mAh
3) Xeon Flash
4) Better speakers
5) Better Build quality

I'm guessing that the screen size will only be increased and the body will be the same size as the Note II just like the S4
Otherwise this will not remain a phablet more than 6 inches is definitely a tablet
