Carol.....you are absolutely correct my friend !!.. Is there any other os that can support such high specs regarding camera..or any other company that can manufacture a challenge to my year old pureview or the upcoming GODFATHER of all camera phones...no !! No one can do so except NOKIA because the are the best guys who take care of every small thing like adding a powerfull loudspeaker like the speaker that was on nokia e71, n8 and is on 808 pureview, lumia 928 and will be on nokia eos........and not like samsung who are releasing phones every coming day with same price tag , nothing new in them and willth same ugly dotted 2rows of speaker either if it is on top or again at the bottom..... But not all people think about these things except for them ,,that company is best whivh releases phones everday and not the one company which releases good phones once !!

I love them...but when I come back to my nokia..i feel like it is made for all NOKIA FANBOYS like me who understand what it is like to own a Nokia phone...but yes it is true that nokia is going at slow pace but who wants a phone who gets old every other day just because some other company releases a successor to it... and guys tell me if I am true or not ?????..

AnonD-133243, 15 Jun 2013WP is more than enough for Nokia. But it has some drawbacks... moreAfter you read what you wrote you will realize that wp is not enough for Nokia. WP is just not good enough when comes to what Symbian can do. I'm not saying is not good (is better the crapdroid anytime)but if they will make it more "unlocked" and more like a real system (as symbian is) then i will jump ship. But i doubt. Symbian started this, and there are still systems that UPGRADE (unbelievable) into what Symbian was since it was developed (take a look at ios7, the system that all unknowing fandroids, and there are many, say that it is a copy of their system:))), having no clue how much a copy of THEM ALL android really is). With that said, i can easily say that Symbian is the most powerful system among the copycats. The father, grandfather, mother, grandmother, teacher, priest and mentor. After you see what 808 can do with that hardware (and is running very fast to) you realize that Symbian is not just a trend that waits for new apps. Is the One and only mobile system, just like Windows is for pc's. Allot of systems spread all over the net but none does what windows do. You cannot kill it. Now i kind of think that there will be some systems that will follow Symbian path. So, if Nokia will be smart enough will reinvent Symbian, after cutting the contract with wp. New name, same power (or maybe more) new hardware and revolutionary interface. If not...

AnonD-6860, 15 Jun 2013i give a damn about that ... and thank god its not andr... moreNumber pixels do not guarantee the quality of picture and only ignorant consumers who really don't understand the photography buy a camera, I'm sorry "a mobile phone" solely based on number of pixels.

Technically, 6MP is good enough for everyone, including professionals, unless you want to print out a picture that is a size of football stadium.

Some people want a super slim phone. Others want one with a great camera, the two can not be combined.
Some want small and compact phones to be easily handled. Others want phablets.
Some want hardware QWERTY. Others want thin devices.
Some want super powerful processors. Other want great battery life.
Some want styluses. Others would never use it, and therefore will never pay extra in dollars or weight gain (due to the technology and added weight by the pen).
Some want premium feel materials like glass and aluminium. Others want good signal reception and low weight (thin painted aluminium neither feels or is premium)

Carol, 15 Jun 2013This is what you want;)! I'm pretty much sure the market is... moreWP is more than enough for Nokia. But it has some drawbacks: 1. Microsoft doesn't care to develop it as fast as Nokia would need, actually too restricted UI and memory, no file manager. 2. MS has contracts with Samsung, Huawei and Htc also, while Nokia has only with MS. 3. MS fully determines hardware specs while Nokia cannot get from it software as would require or on the right time, and Nokia's own devs are limited to the exclusive apps only actually.
But only WPos has the power for getting adapted with market in a distant future. Symbian and Meego were just like Android, if they developed further, not only fragmentation and insecurity would be unavoidable, but lack of echosystem and open platforms competition would kill them later.
In my opinion Nokia should bring once per year a 'have it all' phone and also continue the normal series. I mean a device with better than top notch android specs and with Nokia's quality, apps and camera for a price of over $1200, and this not for big sales, but for marketing purposes only, showing people what they are capable of. But i'm afraid it might be a best seller and become the new standard then ;D

The great camera wont work if the phone is running WP. WP sux and still have only 2% marget share. No one gives a damn about 41mpix with WP.

Android today is like the PC of the 90s in the mobile area.. and can possibly take over our desktops and the enterprise business soon. Unless MS can turn things around, make WP open, more fun, more developers. Nokia makes the most amazing hardware but it's the APPS which matter to most people nowadays.

I'm pretty much sure the market is oversaturated with android crap. From the worst mobilephones in the world to some semigood ones. More then 60% of android users are kid's under 18 with no intention to buy good smartphones, cause most of them don't pay for the phone, their parent's do. 85% of this 60, are using hopeless cheap smartphones and download free apps full of adds or cracked. Now i'm asking you, why would nokia point to this market? While wp market meet's the needs of a kid that want's a pocket console, i'm pretty sure nokia does not aim to this user;), quite at all. They aim to a real life environment. To what a mature man uses daily on his phone. One of them is hardware quality, to feel premium not second hand copied crap. Signal quality, ear speaker quality, camera quality, microphone quality. A premium smartphone that is worthy to pay so much money. Hd gaming and 30000000000 apps are for sheeps and kids. Though wp has allot of apps to (to many for a real smartphone user i might say), i never heard them bragging about this every 10 seconds like others do. So nope, Nokia should stay away from android, and reinvent symbian and meego. But for sure not android.

if nokia creates android phone, many will surely buy one. But nokia made a wise decision, instead of making phones with the same features(android of course) ,they sure satisfy the customers by quality over quantity. Mind u guyz, theres a lot of local android phone manufacturers that creates android phone en0ugh to meet the needs of an average user . Just like cloudfone 430x with 4000+mah battery, thats surely last for 3days
