Only CNY100/€120 difference between the Pro+ and the Ultra? I can't even understand why the Pro+ even existed in the first place when you can get so much more with the Ultra for only a small extra amount of money. Also, it's pretty much identical to the Pro except for the over-satellite voice calling and 16GB RAM.

I had three Huawei phones. Mate2, 8, 9. Being in the USA, I had to dump the 9 because you can't get updates, plus now, no google and some apps I use for work, come from google.

Base variant is almost 1300 euros in China.

I really want to have another huawei phone, but, no play store, no buy. I don't care what anyone thinks. I don't need someone to tell me that he doesn't uses google services. OK, cool, but I need apps for work that I can only download through play store and I use google services as well.

The 3 cardinal sins you mentioned + past reports of Huawei allowing the gov remote access into user devices is what keeps me away from them.

Meh, I wont waste money on something unusable, at that price point Id rather get me an iPhone
But really wasting thousands of euro for unusable phone is stupid, the right budget for a phone is something between 150-250$ more than that is already wasting since they are basically the same just adding something unnecessary for oneself satisfaction and the vendor profits
