If everything's price is higher then it's only understandable that the base cost of a flagship will also go higher, if you account for inflation then the price of the Oneplus 12 is insane compared to most of its "flagship" phones.

Guaranteed, coming to your favorite phone in 2024 will be a variable aperture. Samsung, Apple, will definitely have this feature in 2025, no doubt!

No. And it's not because of the lack of Play Store. I uninstall or disable all of Google's apps anyway.

It's the oversized screens, no expandable storage and no headphone jack.
3 cardinal sins in my book.
And I'm done wasting money on phones that don't cover basic needs. If that ends with me going back to a dumb phone, so be it.

Any lens has lower quality on corners compared to center. Then they cut corners of the photo, it results in 27mm equivavent. So the dumb ones believe lens is too high quality at the point corners are as sharp as center.
Then photos have to be upscaled back to 12.5MP.

Fun part is honor often does that. Something not done before being "sold" .
                      Exactly same 23 to 27mm.

I bought a Huawei phone in the past the p60 because the focal length of the main camera on every phone is too wide now whereas Huawei outputs 27mm, I knew they were scaling the image as the lens was wider, but I wanted to believe they had some sort of computational photography magic. I am increasingly convinced the images are just cropped and upscaled.

This is important because the Pura 70 ultra has a 22.5mm focal length but outputs 27mm, so that's an even bigger crop and upscale.

As for the standard Pura models, they've kept the same design language, but then the cameras are over prominent. I wish there could be a single camera phone that was high quality where the camera wasn't as prominent. Unfortunately manufacturers today try and make the cameras as unnecessarily prominent as possible.

Getting one if any of them release here this summer. Whichever model works for me.

It's way to expensive and no Google services is a deal breaker

Too bad Motorola cannot offer lower prices. I'm not saying what they offer isn't worth the money it's just there are better options for the money. Regarding Huawei I'm confident Kirin will deliver.
