" Google's OS holds 79% of the smartphoen market share for Q2 2013, according to Gartner." Smartphoen? Lol. Back to topic, those Smartphones aren't actually smartphones. Those Android phones that comes between the price tag of 100$-150$ are just some standard feature phones with a lot of limitations such as "lag, poor battery backup, worse screens and a very frustrating user experience."

Like me. I like smartphones too but I always prefer my laptop and computer for heavy tasks. Though, I got a 920.

When you go to a mall wi... moreI like many other people, prefer feature phone, i don't want or need smartphone, what's annoying is people who think that they know better, they "advice" me to buy a smartphone because "it's just better", i tell them that i only need to charge it once every 3 weeks, so how long the battery last in their smartphones?

I prefer a computer to use the net, a phone for calling and texting.

Awais485, 14 Aug 2013Nokia ! adopt android or go home.Although Android is leading in market share I dont think Nokia will benefit from taking it on board. Nokia has left it too long and if they changed now it would just look like they are jumping on the band wagon and hoping that the OS alone will boost their sales which it might do but i seriously doubt it now.

Looks like Nokia is doing ok. With 90% of the WP market, they sell some 6.5 million devices- not bad at all, and much better than going into Android.

This just means that alot of people are catching up in terms of technology and are willing to advance.

I work in telecoms and you still get loads of older customers who buy simple phones but it looks like more and more are willing to learn how to use smartphones.
