I am very happy with the news. Display will be unbreakable. This technology is no to made a bendable phone, it is to make unbreakable display. i wish samsung will use this unbreakable display in all version of galaxy S5

Text notifications can be read from the side. I can imagine devices without bezel edges as a result. Another application is an adjustable slight concave-linear configuration by snapping to make it stand, and to curve to the contour of your face while calling.

I think curved phone means a flexible phone not a curved phone. The whole idea is if it is in your back pocket it won't break when you sit on it. I know a lot of you will think sit on it? Yes a lot of people mistakengly do that

The phone may be curved so it is less breakable when you drop it, granted, but to be fair, you shouldn't be dropping your smart phone in the first place.

I do think that curved display are useless for daily usage. For better 3d effect yes its good but for today even if they make curved screen phones there will be many compactibility issues and other problems

IPhone 4s screen = around 25$
Iphone 5 screen = around 80$
Galaxy S4 screen = around 200$ up ( premium oled lol ）
Can’t imagine how much would cost for the note3 screen replacement .
For cheap small screen like apple , they can call this technology as gimmick but for
expensive premium oled , this is good news because only glass cover replacement will be way cheaper . I don’t care oled is blah blah blah becuase i believe my own eyes lol

Flexible displays are a great idea for durability. But a curved phone? No thanks not even for a Dollar
