HTC should have focus more on windows phone OS.
Windows Phone OS is the only OS to save HTC from decline.

Anything can be considered and be premium once it is constructed right. take for example the iphone 3gs i think it would, it was made of plastic, but yet it was considered to be "premium"

i think their market has declined because of the seemingly poor camera and the price tag they put on their phones. Not every people are aware of the fact that megapixels don't matter uniquely in case of camera performance. Not every people do an elaborate prior research to buy phones.

Cenas, 05 Nov 2013Google about Maclaren MP4/12Cright ok now your just losing the point, there is a reason why manufacturers turn to other materials rather than metal, in the car industry, its because its cheaper, lighter weight, easier to produce etc. etc. not because it gives the car PREMIUM spec which is the whole reason we are having this argument! in the mobile phone industry it is also fairly similar however the most significant reason is because its a CHEAPER alternative, there is a reason Samsung is more competitively priced. Because its more cheaply pieced together as a whole (it costs samsung a lot less to produce most of their handsets to HTC's Flagships) The argument here is all about premium! you choose a plastic watch over a well crafted titanium watch? Thankyou...

I would also consider HTC again (I've owned several in the past) but lack of interchangeable battery and not being able to put a Micro SD in to expand storage (criminal) puts me off. To get back on track, you need cutting edge specs and a low price to compete against the big boys.

You guys are funny. Sony posted quarterly losses for last few YEARS. Maybe the last one was with a little profit and you already think their HUGE. HTC camera is not bad, you just think that 4mpx is not enough but it is. Software is the most smooth in android world right now and looks great. The problem is that HTC devices are a bit too expensive, but their quality recopensates it. want a cheap samsung phone that looks like 3 year old after using it for 3 months and that lags like hell? go ahead!

There is really something wrong with their 4 Ultra Mega Pixel whatever camera. In terms of quality, it simply cannot compete with the basic 8MP camera of any well known brand. People nowadays read and watch the reviews before they buy. The output quality of their 4Ultra MP camera sucks! If that could have been an 8MP Ultra whatever pixel, it would be another story. The second reason for their declining sales is their steep pricing. Right now, all they have to do is LISTEN to the people who make their comments here in GSMArena if they want to redeem their sales. The problem with HTC is they are stubborn. They want to loose sales and prove that they are wrong before they make some changes to their phone specs.
