I really don't care about update always few things gets updated which really doesn't make any huge difference to common user. I have got an update before 3-4 days from 4.2.2 to 4.3 and I feel no major difference in use.... My friends updated there phone before Samsung rolls out the Updates...My friends lost their phone validity apps errors lots of mess..... Hehehe.... Kids waits for updates and always talks about them.... Its not the game of adult.... Feel very sorry for my friends... They must be reading my comments here.. Hehehe he

I still have my good old S3 with 4.1.2 and I'm not planning to replace it until April next year so I hope at least Samsung get it's SW development straight and correct all the bugs in the current 4.3 update. They have seriously messed up with their still best selling smartphone that hasn't received a decent upgrade for a year. Otherwise I think I'll have to look elsewhere when I get a new contract.

Please make sure everthing turns good samsung. I once update my note 2 from4.1to4.2 n becomes slower in internet connection.

Majority of galaxy owners don't even know that they own android device and even if they did , they don't know what's kitkat or jellybean.
They just know one thing , their phone is "galaxy" , that's all.
I bet Majority of android users , will be more familiar to touchwiz than stock :)
That's the painful truth.
So , I really think that delaying updates doesn't really affect them as long as apps on playstore work nicely.

Which phone doesn't have problems ?
Thing is problems gets fixed very fast for Nexus and iPhone line-up.
I had problem with iOS 7 on my iPad and then Apple solved many issues with 7.0.x updates within matter of weeks.Yes , there are still some things which are needed to be re-done and bugs to squash but they will be filled very fast.
There are some bugs on my 4.3 Galaxy S4 which also existed in 4.2.2 but Samsung didn't bother to fix it.
So , Deal with it.
No device gets flawless updates.

I can almost be certain that Samsung, after the Nexus line, is the fastest Android manufacturer in realising updates for their flagship devices. Maybe only HTC can match it.
