HTC Netherlands says One X+ won't get Android 4.4 KitKat

HTC Netherlands has confirmed the One X+ smartphone won't get any more Android updates.

You switched because of poor update support? I made the switch because of 41 mega pixel camera and now i cant switch back to android.

I hope wp8 get enough apps and games to compete other OS. That is only major thing missing in windows phones.

    Well even though Dutch and Danish are related languages, and both countries are in Northern Europe bordering Germany, they are not the same.... *LOL*

      then people only critize sony's update. atleat sony provides latest updates to its several phones :)

            Labtoofer mentioned earlier on Twitter that it is stuck on 4.2 and Sense 5.

              One would have to be stupid to think that Htc would update the One X+ to 4.4.

                Exactly the reason I made the switch to Windows Phone. If you really love Android, it's better to buy a Nexus phone as manufacturers take ages to update their not so long ago flagship phones. And in some cases like these, they don't even bother to update! HTC has always been poor with their support. Bought a Sensation and then One X hoping for a change in direction but they always let me down. Good luck HTC with such customer support! -_-
