HTC and Nokia agreed and assured apple that they wont copy Apple.
But it seems like samsung is like doing it willfully.
But for samsung , it seems profitable to copy and pay the fines later.

other companies... moreCompanies are inspired and from time to time copy certain features. No company is free of this, even Apple.
Samsung however took it to a whole new level, and were almost like an iPhone clone company at one point. That's why they were not accused of copying, rather the term used was 'slavish copying', which is super accurate to anyone except Samsung fanboys.

It's American Govt and Corporate conspiracy.
Stealing foreign company business info through various spy-gates. Then American corporate bought them with big money and registered as their patent, and then make new much earlier launch ahead products. Later sue foreign company for the money they used for purchased the info from American Govt.

Apple are a disgrace as a company. I understand that protectingf your intellectual property is of paramount importance, but this seems to be 90% of their business model now: Release the same phone over and over again so that all the sheep will keep handing over money, and try and sue anyone that looks to be successfully competing.
If apple used all the money they have to actually innovate in their handsets then i doubt there would be any threats at all. RIP Jobs, you took all that made Apple the company people respected when you went, now it's just another company trying to squeeze maximum profits for minimum effort.

i hve a nokia lumia 925 it has created all the technology like refocus after taking a shot (htc one m8 copied it ) and double tap to wake up the screen (lg g2) not forgetting nokia was the first to put dual flash xenon flash and optical image stabilization in their camera and samsung copied it in the xenon (s4 zoom and galaxy camera ) isnt that enough

Nice to see the American justice system being fair, Samsung being fined millions for infringing 2 patent, Apple fine 100k for infringing 1 patent, makes sense. Apple don't innovate anyways they just but patents and patent ridiculousthings. I've heard Apple are applying to patent 'breathing' so be careful or you too could face a lawsuit. This would only happen in America mind!

Even my Surface Pro does that.
And give up already about plastics. LG, Huawei, Acer, many Motorola/HTC and non-Xperia Z Sony phones are in plastic too and there's no fuss about it.
