i am wondering if qualcom is a sold out!!...they offer their latest chipsets to samsung first ....if they were to offer thier latest chip to every one then why would sony not use snapdragon 805 instead 801!!

I do not believe this for a second. There is no way Sony would release the exact same phone. Maybe this is the Verizon variant.

Sony won't be releasing a Sony Z2 Compact (I can guarantee that from a meeting I had with them) However they will release a Z3 and a Z3 Compact at the same time, with only the screen size being the difference between them. Remember Sony believes in Evolution not Revolution.

seems like 2014's flagship will still base on 801, we havent seen any 805 yet so far, so I guess I'll stick on my z1 & wait for z4 or even z5 I think

In my opinion, Sony must not launch Z3 with such similar specs, instead launch Z3 Compact only.. But such is not the case.. They insist on launching 2 flagships per year.. Only Z3 compact seems to be an upgrade.. Looking forward to buying a Z3 Compact..

It is a little stu*id to come up with a six month upgrade cycle if you do not have anything to show for it. Better revert to a 1 year upgrade cycle and show vast improvements as compared to your previous flagship.
