Motorola may have already divorced Google, but the relationship still bears fruit and most recently we've seen the Nexus 6. The first Nexus phablet and the first Nexus by Motorola closely follows the Moto X (2014) design language and brings many of...

"... unlike Holo, which typically used black backgrounds. We're only raising this up because Google has not included an AMOLED-friendly dark color scheme.

... Which is stupidly insane on a QHD Amoled display!

Google should at least give folks the choice to either use Holo or Material Design. Particularly when it's clear that battery tech STILL doesn't stack up with other technologies inside a phone.

Not everybody can own both smartphone and tablet like you...so this phone is great for people who can't own smartphone & tablet , they can use it as a phone all day and use it as a tablet to watch movies at home...!

And for people with big hands like me ,this phone is perfect , because any phone with screen below 5.5" is too small for my hands...Because small phones always slips and falls from my hands...!

Oh folks... The ppi war has no end, and its obvious that its gonna just keep growing in numbers. But wait, do you guys know the fact that anythng over around 320ppi has just no effect on our 24 fps eyes? Apple did it long back INTODUCING the RETINA DISPLAY with 326 ppi. And its keeping the same for very long.
What a market strategy to fool the fools even more... Innovations comes only from the genuine companies like Apple and HTC.
Also for HTC, the secret of ultra pixels were only known by these two giants.

yes sorry way to big phone to be used daily.. and no pen like samsung and no IP rating i dont get it.. a phablet is lame, if u are home u probably have or want a tablet 8" inch at least.. even a 7 inch tablet is better for watch movies, for daily use a phone 5" is enough... phone so big like this is just fail.

I'll definitely gonna test this out when it can be found in local stores. Tired of small screens (5" for now). :)

The first NEXUS I DO NOT WANT TO BUY! Bad design! Okay for 5.5 inch display, but 6" is just too big for phone to be used daily, it is only good for show off. Up bezel wider than bottom bezel add to its ugliness. Poor you Google, poor you motorola...

i wished that nexus 6 running on 64 bit chipset, think i'm gonna skip nexus 6 and stay with nexus 5. for me, nexus 6 is just slightly improved from nexus 5 with the double price tag.

Though i am being too impassionate to hold that beast in my hand, but i'll rather wait and see what's the feedback of other users.
Because currently we only get to read only Pros of Nexus 6. Time will tell what the Prons are.

Like wise, When nexus 5 was launched everyone was boasting about how awesome it is (no doubt it is), but by the time we saw it's Cons like not enough battery, unimpressive speaker, and not good microphone to name a few.

Android as an operating system is becoming very tired and boring. Change a few icons and a few notifications and call it a new version. Snoooze.

Can't imagine there is many Chinese on gsmarena. I don't think the nexus logo is too big. Nexus 7 2012 and 2013 both had big nexus logos on the back. Most people spend most time looking at the front anyway.
