29 October 2014
Motorola may have already divorced Google, but the relationship still bears fruit and most recently we've seen the Nexus 6. The first Nexus phablet and the first Nexus by Motorola closely follows the Moto X (2014) design language and brings many of...

Guys, Guise. The DPI is 560 so this phone is actalily 3.5 inches, the perfect size for a smartphone according to one version of Apple's story. The 5.9 inches in the story is actalily just a typo.

Made my Motorola? No thanks Google as Motorola are the worst at hardware, I have seen so many returns of Motorola handsets because of the a number of issues.

Put simply Google would of been better off going to the Chinese to make the Nexus 6 then give the job to a business they owned but have now sold to Lenevo.

If they wanted to kill off the Nexus line they should of just done it and not made this crap.

"...they just doubled the feature set..."
as that's how the Note 4 has it :)

"...it's difficult to fit a 6" screen in less space."
The top+bottom bezel width on the Nexus 6 is as much as on the Note 4 - namely 27mm - despite not needed for the UI buttons as they are instead on-screen. Hmmm.

"...live with a 10mm device if it had a huge battery..."
or the camera smack in the middle of the phablet as on a regular camera - as thats where the phablet is thickest. Sure, the battery would need a cut-out but whats wrong with a battery with a hole in it?

A disadvantage is that the battery is hard to replace (by ordinary users).

The big difference between the Nexus 6 and Note 4 is the pen and $200.

An important but big unknown is the camera. Looking forward to gsmarenas deep review.

Without a micro sd slot it is uninteresting.

i think the 3200mah battery is enough. nexus 5 has a 2300mah battery and it lasts more than a day (24 hours) with medium to close heavy usage.

I agree that the battery size should have been bigger. Why is it the same size as galaxy note 4 when the Nexus 6 is bigger?

Love it. I can see thus replacing my nexus 7 and 4.3 inch RAZR I, by doing the job of both.
Unless your a tiny little Asian dude I don't thinks its too big. I'm only 5ft 11 which is short these days for a westerner.
