If that picture is real then that bezel looks far too thin. A thin bezel means that it is far too easy to accidentally press the screen with the skin between your index finger and thumb (unless Samsung have invented some way to detect this)

Wuteva anybody says_this is not wat was xpected! Just about the same as SG2,actually worse with too much processor for little memory causing imbalance! Wat all the dual core biz anyway? No1 will eva notice while in use! Still prefer SG2 coz can b upgraded to ICS too. SG3 has even lowered the standard with 1.3MP front facing while SG2 has 2MP! SG3 anyway should have blown SG2 into oblivion but has just stuck on the same spot! So dissapointed after such wait!

At least they... moreHow could you compare single core wit quad core, look in any computer and you will see that multi core CPUs have lower frequency/core than the single core one. Also you cannot compare 1.4 * 4 = 5.6 GHz with Nokia's 1.8.

This thing is rubbish. Why you would need quad core? Quad core with such a slow GPU, with only 1 gb ddr2 is useless. A good dual core processor is waaaaaaaay too powerfull for regular use and it doesn't exist an app to make it lag, so in this moment, for mobile devices(phones and tablets), a quad core processors are USELESS!!

I love the concert hall setting in Samsungs but found the SGS2 to have worse quality than Samsung Wave..The Samsung Wave used the Wolfson DSP chip and was superb bujt they switched to Yamaha in the SGS2..I know why the sound is worse in SGS" but want to know what you say.-

thought it would have better specs than this. take a look at the htc one x and then this. the s3 was a long awaited phone and its still not as good as the one x. overall the phone specs are good but i also think that it will have a 12mp camera..
but we're not sure till the phone comes out maybe on may 3rd.

If this turns out to be the galaxy s3, then whats the bloody big deal.
Given the many variants of the galaxy s2 to appear over the last 12 months or so. then this (s3) will be just another variant of the s2.
I guess we will soon see

If I had more time on my hand I would have continued as CS and would have registered it as CS. I actually also only realized that I registered the wrong nickname... It was suppose to have been "HumorOUs Engineer".
So Yes I agree that even I as an Engineer is not perfect, but that doesn't give you the right to just assume the worst of everybody. We live in the 21st Century, where Hackers are almost on every second doorstep. For All YOU know it could have been a Hacker to the site and one of the technics or tools that Hackers use these days are to mask their IP's and use virtual IP's that have been already been granted access previously by also sniffing for IP's. But in this case it was a human-error from my side and I apologize for my imperfect ignorance and also my rushed state of mind.

so sad to see s3 like this ...hope there will be surprise on thursday ,03/05 ....and the ram can increase to 1.5 gb and the camera to 12 mp and the screen resolution is 720p hd super amoled plus

8Mp is very descent, what you expect from a smart phone is more processor and performance, not take pictures to print huge banners, phones are not for photo graph professionals,may be you would upload to face book with a mobile phone camera,
This has an internal and external memory which Xperia s does not have, and also xperia is heavy 10mm thick brick phone.
Xperia has 2 generations old 2.1 blue tooth misses out gorilla glass, Dragon trail is not hard as gorilla

Sony Xperia S which has been announced 4 months ago, is very better than this. Most of features are common between both, except that GSIII has 2 more cores, but Xperia has 12 MP camera. looking at price tag, GSIII is 130 pounds more than Xperia S for what?!!! just 2 cores?! No thanks, I'm going to buy Xperia S.

These specs are sad. Not what I'd hope from a S3 Galaxy phone.
Expected a more powerful CPU & GPU.
Looks like the iphone will have a real shot at dominance this year

Talkin' about 8mp recording video of 1080 @30fps, that's unbelievable. With it's poor camera quality (in reflect to galaxy s2) and bad audio quality, i think this is not gonna b a big hit, especially in d US. 4 android, i think Google should study their os. A quad-core, even iphone is twice faster than quad-core android phones. People in the US are comparin' WP and iphone, not DROID and iphone. A better study is better than adding mere component unit. WP apollo is gonna b great, BELIEVE ME!!!
