heyy guys just upated my galaxy s4 on android 4.3 and Im in UK.
Still there is something that does my head in like the chat video call hate that app and want to uninstall it but it can grrrrrrrrrr

I agree with a lot of what you are saying (that's a first for us two). The UK Security Services are as bad as the US ones for spying on it's subjects, but it is still wrong for Samsung to suck up to them in this way and install spyware on the phone and then claim that it is for OUR benefit.
Now the NSA and GCHQ can spy on anyone anywhere in the world without permission. Morally, that is wrong, and Samsung have got into bed with the Devil over this.

I've tried to uninstall KNOX but haven't fou... more samsung has released a video on knox- web search and see - NSA- SECURITY MONITORING USA GOVT POLICY.. - s4 new- SECURITY POLICY 0012 Has been applied - - your uk- all vips vvips telephones mobiles bank accounts etc etc - have been and ARE monitored by UK SECRET SECURITY SERVICES.. secret abuses of POWER continue in uk .
if you have nothing to fear- why worry or be bothered .. enjoy modern technology - emails mobiles wireless communications - developed - SPEARHEADED- BY USA -with inputs from worldwide ..usa = MAN TO MOON..

I've tried to uninstall KNOX but haven't found any option to do so. Question is why not? Why don't they allow you to remove it?

At 1:10 into the video they state 'Security Enhancements developed by the National Security Agency'. Why is the American spy network developing apps for your phone?
Then go into Settings/More/Application manager and scroll across to 'All'. Scroll down to 'K' and you will see 4 entries for KNOX. Then tap on them and read the permissions you have agreed to.
'read phone status and identity'
'prevent phone from sleeping'
'edit your text messages'
'read email attachments' etc. etc.
I didn't ask for this spyware on my phone and it's wrong that you can't remove it.

Samsung has done region locking devices which it is selling at full unlocked price. Either you have to ask for unlock code from Samsung or root it to loose warranty. It is bad move by samsung against concept of Global GSM but the company id big and there is not legal regulation to prevent it.

I get the same thing and there is noth... moreknox- can be uninstalled via knox settings .. and prompt says " tap to ..." on /off .. simple. knox is password and pin protected for storing personal data pics etc ..knox is corporate level security now available for personal use - if problems -why not email samsung head office -director customer services with details -valuabale feed back .. cheers .. truce !

leo, 08 Nov 2013Just bought from over in Austria my s4 Samsung galaxy Gt 1... moreAll I know is if that enter pin happens in UK its LOCKED to a network,,this means it will only work on that network..In fact the only way I could find out is to try all the sim cards in UK to find out which one its locked too..A sim free European model should work on gsm worldwide so that not the fault ..Optus sounds Australian but all I can say is to try and get it unlocked,,it cost 15-25GBP here in uk .

I get the same thing and there is nothing you can do to stop it. It happens because Samsung have forced that awful KNOX Security app on us which nobody seems to want but can't get rid of.

hi admin i bought samsung S4 two month ago and update it 4.3 jelly bean. A meesege shown that an application from unauthorized source want to reach devise but has been blocked. I reset my cell but again shown this messege. what is this plz tell me.

I had couple of HTC phones, my most recent one was One S. After considering One vs S4 for a long time, decided to change and I went for S4. This was a bad decision, and honestly - I find older HTC ONE S better than the S4, so I can only imagine what am I missing by not getting the One. S4 lags, TouchWiz is TERRIBLE, my old HTC 1.5GHz dual core felt much, much faster than this quad 1.9GHz. TouchWiz is so heavy, it just wastes all this power. Camera is very bad, with a quite big delay on the shutter. All this super technology they keep advertising? Works ONLY on the stock samsung apps which you won't use anyway (Internet, Calendar, Email). Phone in general is good and nice, beautiful screen, but there are so many small things that makes me regret buying it, like no date displayed in the notification bar, no ring volume setting while phone is locked, complicated settings all over the place. If you still can't decide what to buy - go with One.
