I never forget that phone it was my frist phone ever
Days run so fast it was have mp3 player and IR really i miss Siemens phones it was amazing 😔

One of the best mobiles at the time. Also, it was one of the first with MP3 player ability. Unfortunately, it had no 3.5" jack, and no stereo headphones were bundled with the phone. Soft-modding was very popular, with additions like Java or switching the firmware to SL45i.

Best GSM phone ... upgrade fubu for SL and you can use MMC up to 1Gb or maybe 2Gb

I just bought one of these for 1209$, the guy said me that this is a luxury phone and he gave the special headset for this phone for only 69$ (the real price is 99$ XD). I luv it, and all the people is jelaous of me because of it

I have one and I love it so much. In my country there's a club for people who is using this phone. They also mode something else for this phone. I my self made some. It's great phone. Especially the MP3 player function. The sound quality is great. Love it.

i love this siemans sl42 and i which i could have money to buy it but unfortunately there is no money to buy it and the most thing i like in it is that of it talk time and phone book capacity

This was one of my favourite phones until it began to develop software bugs that would cause the display to fade.
Avoid this phone. I was not the only user who had this problem. It has made the phone useless to me. Buyer beware!

I bought a SL42 but haven't been able to get hold of the SL42 Original Data Exchange Software. Twice I've been sent software for the SL45 which doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help.

This phone is user unfriendly, and quickly developes hardware and software problems.
Zero reliability, go for a scandanavian phone!
