SL42 is an excellent phone, the best i've had so far! but the lack of accessories provided is very poor. For example no MP3 accessories.

LISTEN UP PEOPLE, THIS IS VALUEABLE INFORMATION TO ALL OF YOU WHO WANT A SL42, SL45, SL45i
The best deal is get a SL42, it is cheaper than Sl45. You then need to get a MMC READER for about $30 and headphones for about also $30 and a 64 MB MMC for $60 ... all and all you then got a SL45. The Sl42 is the same as the SL45 which means it can be upgraded to a SL45i and it has been done.

i have an SL42 and i must say that its a COOL fone. IT HAS AN MP3 for those who think that i doesnt, its just that the pkg of the SL42 doesnt come wid a headset or a datacable unlike the Sl45 and also the MMC that comes wid the SL42 is only 16mb. anyone who can say im WRONG??!!!!!

Actually, the SL42 DOES have an MP3 player but it won't work without the Siemens earphones.
All that is required to enable this is the Siemens earphones (SL42 is not supplied with earphones) .

I purchased an SL42 last week and I can only say one thing....... this is the COOLEST mobile I have ever owned!!! No wonder it was recently voted "Best Mobile Phone".
So many features, I'm still learning to use them all !!
Go out and get one today....

Well, abou the phone I just purchased one the other day and I see that the performance is perfect so far. Unfortunately, theirs only one thing that has really inconvenienced me and that is the fact that I use two sim cards and unfortunately my kid had played around with the setting on the preventing other sim cards and put a password. He finally forgot the password and used up all the three chances and the phone locked up. So I cant put in a different sim card apart from the one that was inside the phone. Please advice on the process we can use to open up the phone now that we have the code that was used before it locked. I need your desparaet help and please inform me on what I can do to egt this problem sorted out.
