Best phone I have ever owned, hands down. I haven't had a single problem with it, and I have taken some very nice pictures with this phone. Highly recommend.

EmiliaBedelia, 05 Dec 2018Probably the worst phone I have ever owned. After owning it... moreI have ordered and used two new PH-1's. They are terrific phones. Not issues to report so far after 6 months of use on first one. Have been noticing prices going up a little lately.

The only issue I have with my Essential Phone is sometimes I need to turn it off and soft reboot. Do it at least once a week or two.

If I haven't turned it off for at least a month, the touchscreen begins to wonk out and everything gets laggy and warmer.

This should be done to all smartphones though. Reboot it once in awhile.

Probably the worst phone I have ever owned. After owning it for only the summer (and taking impeccable care of it!), it stopped recognizing my headphone jack, so listening to music on headphones is no longer an option. Apps crash ALL the time on it, I'm lucky if I can get the Weather Network app to even open, let alone load. Oh and the drop down menu at the top of the screen has a mind of its own - it will open, close, whatever it wants, whenever it wants, usually resulting in me completely restarting the device.
Save your money. Buy a Samsung.

Agreed. Best Android phone ever created. Highly underrated. Never knew a nearly pure Android experience could be this good!

              Best phone ever.

As a proud owner of this phone, It runs buttery smooth, and has exceptional battery life, paired with Android 9.0, and I even got a Wii emulator running on that phone with 30-40 fps average. best phone I have owned yet.

Got one of these used for cheap but in mint condition.

Beautiful phone with no bloatware or branding. Battery is awesome especially with official Android Pie 9.0. Runs PUBG at maximum resolution with buttery smoothness.

Using it with Rogers network in Toronto, Canada. Phone gets Android security updates so quickly. Came from an LG G5 to this and they truly are world's apart in fit/finish with the Essential being clearly superior.

Phone is currently great but you have to press 'OK' on a pop-up before you can listen to music on an external DAC. Which could potentially get annoying.

This device is so beautifull. My favorite smartphone so far. Bright display, fast work, android 9, very good (not excellent) camera, strong battery. No issues at all.

Still my favorite smartphone of all-time thanks to the gesture navigation of Pie. I have loved gestures since webOS. And for people complaining that the swipe up doubles as the recent app/webOS-like card UI or the app drawer, just eliminate the drawer altogether or change the gesture using Nova.

Apple iOS doesn't deal with the problem because it lacks an app drawer. Many people don't remember this, but webOS also had an app drawer. Swiping up from the bottom of the screen was how you opened it. Nearly the same way as Pie.

I also support Andy Rubin. New York Times wrote a fake news accusations about him. Check his Twitter. Sergey Brin had an affair with Hugo Barra's gf. That was worse. I'll side with @Arubin. I feel he is one of the most underrated innovators ever. Look at his resumé.

I'll be sad when the battery degrades in a few years but I will always keep this phone and perhaps put it in the original box charging it only halfway from time to time. Eventually, a Pixel 4, 5, 6 or 7 will replace it as my daily driver. I just love how smooth Android feels since Marshmallow and Nougat.

Then go to your PC, and in a browser go to drive.google.com. Select 'download' for each photo.
