Shyam, 06 Aug 2011Over a month now and still I cant see my message asking for... morecan you browse on internet using your mobilephone? if you can then your problem might be on your PC or the PC suite application. if you cant browse on your mobilephone then its your unit that is not configured for internet settings - get the settings on your network(service provider)

www.palringo.mobi from your mobile Browser and select download signed version :D and congratulation :)

Over a month now and still I cant see my message asking for help regarding internet connectivity & PC suite. Why was my message not posted?
I'll repeat my questions in short.
1) I cant connect to the internet with OT-806D through PC using the cable, even though I can do every other things that PC suite provides.
2) when ever I connect the phone to the PC a message prompt comes and I select PC Suite. But the problem is it starts charging as well. I find it strange. How to stop it?
Now I doubt if the connection not getting is because of the cable already being used for charging...?
Plz help regarding these issues or your suggestions based on your exprerience.

Under static mode, it would take the settings from previous phone power off. In case of any change, you have to perform the same manually.

I have just bought one and I was hoping you might help me with a problem I am having with mine. When I plug my phone into my computer it does not show up when I look at MY COMPUTER. It tells me that no phone is connected. I have download PCSuite from the Alcatel site. Can you tell me if there is any setting on the phone that needs to be changed before the phone to computer connection works? Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

i heard that its a dual standby phone..but when i am on a call on sim 1 and at the same time try calling on sim 2,it dosent work...i cant see an incoming call on sim 2 while on a call on sim 1

This mobile is not very good for the internet.
The only good thing about this phone is 2 things:
1 It take 2 sim cards
2 It haves a very good battery life (3 day or less)

sad part is i am unable to access the net on this phone and secondly the phone has very low call volume..:(it sucks on the conversations and otherwise design of the stuff is quiet impressive but the net is now where getting connetced right??!!

Touch screen good, sound quality okay, qwerty kinda quirky, wifi unimpressive, dual sim functions alright. Overall from a scale of 1 to 10 it's an 8.2 for me. Not bad considering its price
