andrej, 08 Jan 2011how to transfer files on windows 7.what to do? do i need so... moreyou need to download the alcatel pc suite at the alcatel website to sync your phone and pc. the pc suite also includes a usb driver so your computer can detect the unit. i already tried connecting the unit directly but of no avail you nreally have to use the pc suite.. hope it helps

Any one know about the dual sim option. i bought Alcatel one touch-806 phone. but in this phone i got a call from sim 1, at the same time some one trying to sim 2 it will coming not reachable message. i want the call waiting option for sim 2. please clarify.

In have a problem and i need to know if all those OT-806 phones has a problem with the earphone. The sound level of the earphone is too low with the volume set at maximum. I need to know if this is a problem for all or only for mine.

koska, 06 Jan 2011what operation sistem is in this phone?No one knows. It isn't Android, it isn't Symbian and certainly not Windows Mobile ;). But it's quite a good "Blackberry like" phone for the price.
I got it for aproximately 34€/44$ in Croatia on T-Mobile prepaid. Keyboard has backlight, Wi-Fi works great with Opera 5.1. Battery runs 3/4 days. That normally depends on usage.

what about with skype for this phone?
I found IM + but this is trial version , it works but not on wi -fi, spend money from the credit.Any solution about skype that work on wi-fi. Also I trayed nimbuzz but this haven't skype anymore.

Hello Dear buyers of Alcatel One Touch - 806 mobile phone.
I see that a lot of you guys expirience the problem of watching You Tube videos on this mobile phone.
There is Opera Mini(update to 5.1.1 is required) equiped on this phone and it is supporting NO Flash player to view You Tube videos.
BOLT browser supports poor Flash support but plays you tube very badly.(download link for BOLT : http://boltbrowser.com/home.html .
These phone is having superrior battery to work with.
Menu is good and fast and you can edit it very good.
Applications :
Facebook - Great java application that needs to be updated on beggining to have better expiriece.(no chat)
Twitter - Simply but still best java running Twitter application
Opera Mini - Great little application working fast but with no ability playing youtube,metacafe,mtw ...
Palringo - Great instant messenger
Great homepage features(gadgets) Time, Weather,Put any app,music player all on homepage.
Wireless quality?
