I am asking this usb charging, because if u rember guyz ive post here regarding to my charger, I dont know if the Fone or the charger is the problem.. its the same thing, both my charger and the usb cable are not working to charge my fone..

kharl, you don't have to install software. If your unit is firmwared with 18b or higher then it will accept usb charging. Just insert and reinsert the mini usb end to your phone until the phone beeps (no usb icon appeared in the display) then the phone starts charging. That is what I experienced.

do i need to install the software or the suite? I already connect the fone via usb but its not charging, it only reads my memory card..

kharl, when you buy this phone, a usb cable is also included in the package. You can use it in charging this phone via usb. Just insert the mini usb end to your phone and the other end to the usb port at the back of your cpu, not the front usb port.

guyz, how to charge this fone using usb cable? is this an accessories that already with the package?

I received email from OT S853 user asking about the 18b firmwared unit if it can connect to a pc and can hold 1 gb transcend mini sd.
Although I have answered him in his email, I would like to remind other users that OT S853 is not like the models after it like ot c701, e801, etc. that can connect directly to pc without necessarily downloading a driver. OT S853 can be connected to a pc but you must download its driver first or have to use its pc suite. Also if your unit is 18B firmwared or up, you can use 1 gb mini sd card of any brand although the best brand for this is sandisk. Just be sure to put files that are supported by this model. I am using 1 gb Kingston mini sd and I don't have problem with it. My unit is working fine so far and it is a 1 year old and a month. You can also charge this phone using the usb cable.

Jerico, no I don't think you can block someones number so you don't get his messages... you can only block people who are not in your phone book or if they call from abroad.

is it really possible to block someone's number to your phone? i tried to change the message setting to "messages from anonymous senders are blocked (not exact but something like that)." But still, I receive messages from that unknown number. Please tell me how to completely block a number. Thanks
