I can walk around not being tethered with a wire on my smartphone, and especially not something as big as the iPad Pro 12.9. However, there is no big reason to take out the headphone jack.
All this to sell AirPods and dongle adapters for a headphone jack.

So uhhhh… absolutely no one is going to mention the horrible ghosting and display response time, and how it snaps in half when every other tablet like galaxy Huawei surface etc doesn't even bend?
Like holy shit I actually went to an apple store to see the 120hz refresh rate and instead I saw the absolute worst ghosting ever in any tablet ever made.

No one should fool themselves in getting an iPad Pro - it is not a full “professional” tool. I totally love this for drawing for the Apple Pencil 2, and using Procreate app for it. Everything else are extra - good speakers, wonderful screen, finally a better way to have the Pencil charged.
I always was thinking of getting a Surface Pro and had an opportuniy to get that instead. However, my main goal was for the best drawing experience. I still have my Alienware laptop for Revit, film editing, CAD, and heavy Photoshop functions. I just spent the same high price for a very decent gaming laptop - but I know that or a Surface Pro cannot match the same stylus experience as the Pencil. Plus I will need a Wacom Cintique display drawing tablet to attached to a big laptop - Cintique cost as much as the lowest end iPad Pro.
iPad Pro 12.9” is the size of a paper, and crazy thin and way lighter than a Surface Pro. It fullfills my mobile drawing needs.

You all dont know what tablets are designed for, they are designed for portability not performance. Plus, it is so much more lighter than a gaming laptop. So, stop commenting about its performance compared to laptops.

But since its just a mobile soc. Bionic is not enough power and performance like desktop or laptop with big compute. Seriously, Apple user so less tech savvy.

And you do realize that your Dell G3 is as thick as 5 iPads stacked on each other and has the same volume as 8 iPad Pro 12.9in while being as heavy as 5 of them. But that all doesn't matter next year, when the iPad Pro 12.9 (2019) scores about 30 000 and is as fast as a 2500 € gaming laptop. Or when the iPad Pro 12.9 (2020) scores about 70 000 and is as fast as a 2500 € fat gaming rig.
