Anonymous, 01 Jan 2009i turned it off too, it just annoys me, the ipod click has ... moreiPhone is the master of stealth, on other phone's even on silent you can still hear the keys clicking or a stylus scratching.
Soft touches on glass are almost silent, you have to put your ear right up next to where you are typing to even hear anything..

So it is important to a lot of people to have a very good web browser on their phone. Go ahead and update to the N97. No one is stopping you. But how can you be sure that it would surpass iphone's touchscreen and UI? Is the N97 out yet. Your judgement is premature. A lot of touchscreen phones that came out claimed to surpass the iphone's touchscreen and UI, but it didn't come true when they came out because the iphone still has the most fluid UI and the most intuitive and responsive touchscreen.

Are you going to buy some gloves to protect the screen from your fingers?
Don't forget a screen protector so the stylus doesn't scratch the screen.
Maybe you should just get an E71, an N96 or the best Symbian phone currently available the Samsung i8510.

I don't think that it has a better mp3 player either. I'm sure it has other features that the iphone does not have, but my point is, it is up to the consumers to decide which features matter to them the most. If you are happy with your E70, then you probably made a good choice for yourself. But others may prefer what the iphone offers, and there is nothing wrong with that either.
Here are some qualities that the iphone has that are better than the E70. The iphone has a bigger display, better resolution, better built, glass display, multi-touch, faster processor, better legibility under direct sunlight, better mp3 player, application store, better UI, better OS, more interesting touchscreen, less buttons, better and faster web browser, and more.
I'm sure you can come up with your own list as well, but like what I said, it is up to the consumer as to which features matter most to them. It is a matter of choice.

It does of course mean that you would have a bigger phone, but it's the price that you would have to pay if you want a prettier and bigger display. As for the touchscreen vs non-touchscreen, it's really up to you whichever you fancy more. Both have pros and cons, so you would have to way which would work for you better. As for all of those N series phone that you have mentioned, I don't think they make the iphone look like crap. Matter of fact, most people would say that the iphone looks more stylish and elegant than those N series, but then again, people have different tastes. But I don't think that the iphone looks like crap at all, unless of course you're enviously bitter with the iphone.
Of course iphone users would know what they're touching on the iphone's touchscreen. If they don't, they couldn't be able to do a thing with it. You can type 30wpm with the iphone as well, not just on your E70.
Look, I don't think anyone can force you to like the iphone, but the fact is, a lot of people obviously do, and no amount of bitterness on your part can change that. Do not be bitter just because there are people who favors the iphone more than your Nokia phone. Go ahead and enjoy your Nokia, and let iphone users enjoy their iphone as well. It's as simple as that.

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2008It doesn't have a touchscreen = instant fail.Just because apple bigged up touchscreen doesn't mean it's gonna be good you phone nooob. look all the other phones like nokia,samsung,motorola,SE...ect most are not touchscreen and they do and did better then iphone XD the most noticable one was the N95,N95 8gb,N85,N82,E71,N79,E61,E62,E65,N96 and E66 there not touchscreen but yet they make the iphone look like crap XD
i know what button i'm pressing with my E70 do you with your iphone Nope i can type 30wpm on a full keypad on my E70 can you on your phone ...nope you must have been struggling just to get use to poking a screen with small letters as keys and no tactile feedback XD

I Dont reckon the iphones battery icon is accurate just like the signal bar when i phone was first brought out with the first firmware
plus someone said 2.3 is out incorrect because mine says 2.2 is the latest update
and man upgrade yur firmware because 2.1 is the worst battery is very poor upgrade to 2.2 and its way better battery

So how come when I go to Office on my N82 and I open one of the Quickoffice applications, say Excel, then I go to 'Options' then 'New' it tells me I need premium and directs me to the Nokia site where have to buy it?
I have also tested this on an N71 and N95 8GB with the same result.
Why do you feel the need fabricate things?
