i meant it as a mini brick and yes its dang heavy for a phone

heres a lesson you will learn today and walk away loving it
the iphone has absoulutely no buttons nothing the screeen does it all thats why and the omnia has buttons on it answer/end keys thats why its big...big but small it might look big but its not its actually quite compact and slim and very lite it just feels great on my hand

plus all phones are making a bad descision by copying the iphones design

p.s the n95 doesnt have touchscreen my dad owns one and well well lookie here no touchscreen on n95
      stop pulling out bull

Allan, 08 Nov 2008What is the iphone 3g ? It's a lot longer than the n95 an... morewhat!! no way
my dad has the n95 8gb in his knee pocket and it keeps flapping back and fourth in there and now hes got bruises from that ugly nasty thing...
the n95 is so ugly i mean it the rubbered design is just so old 1980's the samsung phones are just like the n95 and they are so slim and light

        nokia n95 = rubbish!!

and no your completely wrong the phone is light smaller than you think and rugged the n95 looks as if itll break once dropped ipohone when droped nothing ever happens

oh yeah again today i didnt get my iphone back for like an hour coz people were amazed of it and guess wat!!!

i now have a new boyfriend coz this baby does it all...

I suggest you look into compatibility with Windows Mobile before making a decision.

Allan, 08 Nov 2008"That's exactly what i do" So you look at the gps on the i... moreWell, I managed with only a street directory for years, I know how to read a map and plan ahead.

I have a dock which charges the phone AND connects it to my stereo, I know that's an unfamiliar concept to an N95 owner being unable to charge from a USB and all, but the iPhone can do multiple functions through one lead.

I can also use Street View on Google earth to familiarize myself with landmarks on the way.

Regarding a data plan, I've had data bundled with my calls for the last 8 years, using a variety of handsets and starting with 14.4k WAP (shudder).

btw in Australia we don't have 3 year contracts.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Get the iPhone, simply because you have a Mac. ;)

If you want to be different, there's the Touch HD or Storm.

Allan, 08 Nov 2008Is that the best you've got ,some Bullsh*t about pirated ma... moreWell tell me how your N95 gives you voice guidance without paying a subscription to Nokia maps for the upgrade or paying for or stealing an alternative(eg Tom Tom).

I have one cradle in my car my iPhone docks in it, it serves a dual purpose:- music to my stereo and charger for the iPhone.

The touchscreen makes it very easy to navigate, Say Who (another free app) means I can voicedial.

I wear a Bluetooth headset and when a call comes in the stereo cuts out and I can take the call.

The new Google earth App comes in handy for checking out street view, so I know in advance which landmarks to look for, off course that works all over the world, I don't have to pay for additional map packs.

Btw in Australia we don't have three year contracts.

I don't have to hook my N95 up to the car stereo by wires like you. N95 via bluetooth thru the car stereo if i so choose!

Yeah the iPhone isn't the ultimate phone out there. It doesn't claim to be! LoL

You N95 fanboys with your over-rated phone don't really get it, and I guess you never will.

As for me, I'm moving on to an iPod Touch, and still thinking if I should go for the BlackBerry Storm or HTC Touch HD.

The iPhone was good, but it really wasn't that great of a phone.

But I still prefer Photoshop for everything. But if you thik about it with an App like this it's hard to whine about the iPhone's camera! -can you access the msn messenger and use it on the iphone?"

You need to install software from the App store.

                                    I use Palringo

                                    http://www.palringo.com/iphone/

                                    and Fring

                                    http://www.fring.com/download/iphone/

(can also use Skype or other VOIP provider)

There are also other one's as well but I haven't used them.

"-the program which shows you the temperature. can you change it from Fahrenheit to Celsius?"

Yes, there are also thousands of locations to choose from, you can have multiple cities and flick between them.

A quick read through this forum will tell you the things it doesn't do, also check with the salesperson so you won't be missing out on functions you use on a regular basis.

Things you need before buying an iPhone

                                    PC or MAC with iTunes

                                    Broadband Internet.

A wireless network at home is also VERY useful.
