      Apple could have made this phone so good by making adding basic functions like better camera, bluetooth, picture messaging ect

      I don't get it the phone is called iphone 3g yet the phone doesn't even have a front facing camera???

      They have left these off on purpose, they will bring out another phone soon and will miss out features on that one too... its a marketing scam i do beleive

            Can everyone stop saying how good the iphone is and comment on how we can improve it...

            It is a good phone but at the end of the day its limited in use as its missing vital technology that other phones have..

            You can't even send a picture message!

            I so badly want to buy the iphone because of how fun it is, but i feel apple have missed these features out a second time is just a kick in the bollocks

            They are waiting and stringing us all out until they release another phone with updated camera ect... but no doubt will always leave something out - just to keep us wanting and waiting for the next newer model

            Does anyone know when they will release a new iphone??

              maybe, 20 Aug 2008 iphone has some things which i dont like(mostly many peopl... more1) they dont charge for the software update 2) why do u need a memory card slot when u get up to 16gb BUILT IN MEMORY?!!?!?

                why did apple leave out some of the useful features such as the transfer over bluetooth and MMS and things like that, they're like the most basic features on the some of the low end phones. the UI is fantastic, one of the best ive seen on any phone but it lacks in so many other ways! really stuck on as whether i should buy this or the omnia, apple, get your act together!

                  BEWARE OF BUYING iPhone 3G!!!
                  Friends.....those of you in India planning for iPhone...
                  THINK TWICE BEFORE MAKING A DECISION... The short comings of iPhone are endless...
                  1. No video calling
                  2. No AD2P on the Bluetooth,
                  3. CAN’T share ANY (mp3, images, videos....) files via Bluetooth,
                  4. Can't use as a wireless modem, (you pay ridiculous data charges to activate internet on your
                  phone, but cannot connect it to your
                  PC and browse when you are at home)
                  5. No copy and paste,(cannot copy a part of a.... say.... email & send it....have to type it out yourself)
                  6. No 3.2 or 5 mega pixel camera ,(the 2MP camera it carries is
                  worst camera i've ever seen..... photos look like they have come out of a VGA camera)
                  7. No video recording with camera
                  8. No front camera
                  9. No flash
                  10. No JAVA support
                  11. No physical keyboard (BELIEVE me! this alone is a deal breaker...touch keyboard as
                  good as it looks...once you use it then only you come to know about the
                  importance of having a hard keypad)
                  12. No 3G network yet in India So why pay for expensive 3G
                  phone if you can't use its 3G services so,for India , iPhone 2.0 is no better than its first version
                  13. No removable battery. (You cannot change
                  battery. Have to send it to apple outlet.. Come on now!!!!...This is not an
                  iPod . Its a bloody phone. You cannot live without phone for 2-3 days)
                  14. No hap tic feedback and
                  15. Cannot send MMS
                  16. Can't use as external storage device (16 GB of utter waste..next time you go to your
                  friend's house & find some interesting songs, movies , etc...Sorry you cannot connect
                  your '16 GB' phone and share it!!!! Apple apparently has a solution.. " BUY
                  MUSIC & MOVIES FROM iTUNES STORE "..... Give me a break will you APPLE!!!)
                  17. No FM radio
                  18. Can't use your mp3 files as ringtones,(This is heights man!!!)
                  19. Cannot insert any other SIM card….
                  20. Completely tied to iTunes... Connect to
                  your friend's iTunes & you risk erasing everything on your phone ….

                        This site become an competitie site for Iphone 3g and Nokia 95 also something called like Omnia of so.
                        People there is no better phone than iphone however it misses some features i am sure it will be fixt with firmware upgrade 2.1.
                        Iphine is the king the rest are servents

                          the iphone is way more hyped then any phone on the market and not only that it has half the things othere phones have like 2mp camara blue touth thats usales that can use to download or upload mp3s or videos camaras cant do video maby its a good screen but its way to hyped for what it doze and not only that they make you get a data plan for $30 dollers plus the talk plan thats more then $80 or $90 a month for 3 years i can buy 10 nokia n95 for that would you wanna pay over $1000 dollers for a phone that to hyped and doze half of othere phones

                            Guys remember what happenend to reliance and airtel blackberry price in India and also with RIM. when RIM was launched it was Rs. 27000 but within 6 months it was being sold just for Rs. 501. The same is going to happen with iphone. I have used the unlocked iphone available in the grey market and it is waste of money and thats too in 31000 or 36000. better to go for samsung innov8 or else some other fone.

                              India is victim of another overpricing. Apple doesn’t want to win the customers. They just want to screw up everything by overcharging. When everywhere else they launched around Rs.16,000/-, we Indians have to pay double the price. Their understanding of Indian market and the positioning is wrong. They think we are nuts. I will never think of buying this phone, even though they reduce the price. Also many people using iphone I asked about the performance, they say it is nothing greater than a normal HTC phone.

Iphone has a qwerty keyboard. Better screen. Better mp3 player. More fun to use. Nah, N95 might be better in some features that the iphone doesn't have, but on mutual features, the iphone wins most of them, so think again.

BT is MAINLY used for handsfree communication, not transferring of files. Though it would be nice to be able to transfer files via BT, but it does not mean that it's useless if it can't. There are times that I do not want to share the files that I have on my phone, at least they cannot make me transfer those files because the iphone can't.

The protective film is usually more resistant to smudges and fingerprints, plus, it adds protection and also helps minimize glare.
