Is that true for Apple iPhone 3G....

      No video calling,

      no AD2P on the Bluetooth,

CAN'T share ANY (mp3, images,videos....) files via bluetooth, you cannot transfer files via bluetooth. what age is this ...STONE AGE???

can't use as a wireless modem, (you pay ridiculous data charges to activate internet on your phone, but cannot connect it to your PC and browse when you are at home)

no copy and paste,(cannot copy a part of a.... say.... email & send it....have to type it out yourself)

no 3.2 or 5 megapixel camera,(the 2MP camera it carries is worst camera..... photos look like they have come out of a VGA camera)

      no video recording with camera,

      no front camera,

      no flash.

      no JAVA support

No physical keyboard (BELIEVE me! this alone is a dealbreaker...touch keyboard as good as it looks...once you use it then only you come to know about the importance of having a hard keypad)

iPhone 2.0 is no better than its first version

No removable battery. (You cannot change battery. Have to send it to apple outlet.. Come on now!!!!...This is not an iPod. Its a bloody phone. You cannot live without phone for 2-3 days)

      No haptic feedback and

      cannot send MMS,

can't use as external storage device (16 GB of utter waste..next time you go to your friend's house & find some interesting songs, movies, etc...sorry you cannot connect your '16 GB' phone and share it!!!! Apple apparently has a solution.. " BUY MUSIC & MOVIES FROM iTUNES STORE "..... Give me a break will you APPLE!!!)

      no FM radio,

can't use your mp3 files as ringtones,(This is heights man!!!)

cannot insert any other SIM card….

completely tied to iTunes... Connect to your friend's iTunes & you risk erasing everything on your phone.

      list goes on & on & on….

Some features may be activated by jailbreak.. But why the hell should you risk losing your warranty after paying so much.

And want to add third party softwares??.. YOU HAVE TO BUY THEM FROM iTUNES STORE ONLY!!! . (Shell out more money). Apple is a bloody control freak. Dont surrender your freedom to it.

Apple are trying to IMPOSE THEIR MODEL ON US riding on the hype iPhone has created in the US (yes it was a flop in Europe ..thats why Apple never talks about its sales in Europe).

Those of who buy it... You will be most happy for atmost a week... & then, MARK MY WORDS...YOU WILL START REGRETTING IT!!!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970iphone iphone iphone... Ok staying strictly on the subject of the iphone. I currently have the original iphone. In the past 3 years I have had appx 60 new & different handsets half of which were by Sony Ericsson. When the original iphone was launch like many people I slated it! My opinion was based on what I read & over-heard. By chance I was able to pick a brand new one up free, put a pay & go sim card init & waited... From the get go I was totally impressed. Yes it does not have a memory slot, yes it is only a 2mg camera. No it cannot do MMS or bluetooth pictures. I live in a world of changing technology. And what it does do is store at present 800 of my fave songs. If im out & about and need to check films times - boom. Jump on my iphone. Full internet. The email set up was beyond easy. Infact my 6 year Son could set it up. Now they have released the 3G version... And I am even more impressed. This phone is not for everyone. It is for those that are on the move constantly that need to have a handset that can handle their emails & texts, can surf the net anytime from anywhere in the UK & like me can store a large number of music. I drive alot & have a cable in the car allowing me to listen to my songs will im driving. If U want a 5mg camera but dont listen to music, not bothered bout the internet or emails then hey go buy a Nokia or Sony. The iphone are for those in sync with the changing times of technology & life. iphone 3G. The closet thing to having a PC in ur pocket!

excellent phone.it suits my needs perfectly.the iphone has set a new standard.this is what all phones will become soon.i guess iphone will increasingly take a bigger chunk of the market.its a phone for the massess.i guess iphone will take over the mobile market the way microsoft overtook the computer market.with clever marketing and lowering of price iphone will force all other phone makers out of business.i'm sure the big 5 nokia, samsung,SE,motorola and blackberry will be highly worried.an excellent phone.basically an apple computer in your palm which takes calls.

charles darwin has got to be the most dull man alive, but if he was alive he would have bought the n95.

me and darwin are alike in that sense, we both have N95's

just ordered my 3g iphone 2 days ago and waiting for it to get to my door...

I have no idea why people are still COMPARING iphone to N95...it's 2 different things totally...

one has touch screen and one doesn't...
one has 5mp camera and one doesn't...
one has 3.5" screen and one doesn't...
                                one has.......blah blah blah
they have their own advantages and disadvantages so there is no need to hate them...

for me i have a HTC P3600 and i'm totally happy with it...it got everything i needed and i'm fine with it and why i still order a iphone 3g???

bcoz...for $199 i can have a piece of technology and i don't see why not...

N95? nah...dun wanna pay the fk $500 for that...

and u guy see the differences...PERIOD

                                  Wow!

I was just about to get this phone, but some friends have bought it and are little disappointed and I can understand why!

Images can't be attached to an email while typing the message, the only way to do this is by selecting the option in the photo gallery, and most settings for the individual applications are only located in General Settings, so you have to exit an application to change one of it’s settings, then re-enter the application to continue???

                                  Aggrhhhh!

Definitely not a business phone, no full, physical QWERTY keyboard is a big disadvantage. Bet Mac bring one out next year that has that. I heard you can only use Bluetooth to connect to a hands-free headset, so no A2DP stereo Bluetooth, file transfers or internet sharing???? WTF…….

And the term 3G becomes part of the iPhone's product title?????? How long ago did 3G come out – I can’t even remember!!!!!

I’m don’t get the fuss? Again!

                                      - No navigation software, only Google Maps.
                                      - Dismal camera features
                                      - Disappointing battery life
                                      - Counter-intuitive menus and settings

I thought the 2nd gen iPhone would be way better than that 1st brick. Seems like Apple are playing catch up! But they’re marketing is brilliant, and they know exactly how to keep bleeding money out of you.

the iPhone gives you more control on the view and makes browsing much faster. Being able to enlarge and decrease the screen with such ease is great! having control over the key board is also very useful. Changing to landscape as I am typing is helpful. The camera is not the best but is good enough for everyday use. The large screen makes movie and video watchaing awsome!! tapping and double taping to use the map is helpful when driving. This phone needs shortcut buttons and a dedicated camera button.
