Let's see if we can work out a rough estimate.
19,000,000 Symbian phone's sold in the same quarter but 16.5 million were made by Nokia, that leaves 2.5 million with the Omnia HD in their somewhere along with all the Japanese symbian phones (DoCoMo, Fujitsu, Sharp etc).
Apple seems to be doing well enough without your advice, don't you think?

It would need a 5mp cam or above with flash, a video call cam, screen res of 480 by 640 or above, a removable battery, fm radio, fm transmitter, standard 3.5mm jack, speakers that you can hear on speaker phone. These are the things that come standard on most high end phones today. For Apple to add these things it would need to rework almost the whole Os. So maybe if this was to happen Apple's next release might not even be call an iphone. Hd recording and a Amoled screen would be nice also. But you no what, to cut a long story short the Omnia hd already does all these things and even more.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2009n97 doesn't miss more than 3 features from that long list below.Things from that list the N97 doesn't do:-
iDon't handle push e-mail, iOnly sync, draining a lot of power:- this is a useless reason the N97 uses the same Microsoft Active sync as the iPhone and works in exactly the same way, the N97 can't use it for Gmail the iPhone can.
iDon't handle DivX, XviD, FLV native video, i'm missing apps;_ can you get coreplayer yet? is that a "missing app"?
iDon't have a real office suite, i'm missing apps:- You need to install Quickoffice the same as the iPhone which also has Docs2Go and others (missing App)?
iDon't handle VoIP support for Wi-Fi:- Is Skype working on the N97 or are you still stuck with third parties (Nimbuzz, Fring) the iPhone has Skype, Fring and others.
iDon't record video above VGA, my power-hungry cpu is useless!
That's not even halfway down BEV's useless list and I've found five I can't be bothered wasting any more time.

iDon't send MMS right, iShow wrong sender number -not on my network.

there are so many ways to jailbreak your iphone online which is the best way and how can you do it from the iphone without a computer or can you?im a new iphone owner and i dont really know alot about jailbreaking i tried to look it up but like i said there are all kinds of different ways and it is a bit confusing after you jailbreak it can you send and receive files via bluetooth

You can edit and forward SMS.
SMS are in conversations so it's easy to see back and forth messages with someone, different, I know but effective.

Enough voice volume to be heard in a public place. have you ever heard of noise cancellation technology. Most mid-market phones has these features. I guess voice communication isn't that important with a phone!
can a SMS message be edited and then forwarded? can one view all sent SMS in one list? did't think so.
can one buy an unlocked phone with a warrantry in the US?

Every single poster who critisizes iPhone's weaknesses is probably right ,but the fact still remains that the iPhone is the only mobile device on the market that does what is promised and in style.It may be flawed for some, but when the other manufacturers try to overwhelm you with useless specs and features that never deliver, the iPhone just gets the job done. I've never until this day owned any other device from Apple but after countless years of experience with every other platform in the market all i have to say is that my iPhone 3GS will happily accompany me until a new iPhone comes.

i do hav a iphone b4, do u know how stupid is the phone? i hav all together 10 pages in my 3g, i delete some of the application, it is not smart enough to arrange those icon 4 u, each page got some blank space. even this simple auto arrange icon , iphone cant do it, is it a smartphone or stupidphone.
