Max, 03 Nov 2009With all due respect... I thought the same when I owned the... moreiphone is smoother than HTC bcos iphone run on simple OS, not like HTC run on winmo.

among those smartphone, iphone hav the simplest OS that we call basic phone. only apple itself, thick skin face, calling its iphone as smartphone. from which part of iphone they seem like smartphone?

However I have to admit the Iphone is so much better, faster, more responsive, in fact I now own an Iphone 3G. The OS is so much better, and video playback is amazing. Obviously, we'll have to wait for the HTC HD2 to come out to see how it performs with its 1Ghz Snapdragon CPU, however, the problem is not the hardware (which was impressive enough in the first one) but the OS: Windows Mobile. Let's hope this time HTC will be able to fix all the issues found in the original HD.

      all firmwares, on all devices, ipod touch, iphone 3g and 3gs, can be easally jailbroken, that includes the newest firmware 3.1.2

      please inform yourself befor you post wrong information to interested useres here

        3.0 now can.. so if it is 3.1.2 then it is originally unlock and you can update it every time there is an update available and still remains unlock.
        but still the safest way is looking at the part numbers, because part numbers never lies and cannot be hacked:)

                  Anyway mine works fine, for some reason I don't have those issues, maybe it's the Vodafone Network in Australia.

                  If you want a phone that's worse at calls the Blackberry Storm is it, the N97 isn't so hot either.

                      hi folks , i m from India n got apple Ipod touch i know its useles 2 write here abt Iphone coz i dont own any bt still i wana say abt it as its similr 2 Ipot touch , it got world best touch screen n once yu buy it jus connet it wi itunes n get updated latest OS .. yu can jailbrk it is yu wanna make it rockin n do all yu like ..applications games etc all are superb n v usefull depends how u use it ..wifi connectivity is simply gr8 and browsing in apple IP is jus new kind of feelin on mobile in hands n surfin net .. youtube dedicated application is mind blowing n bought IPod touch coz i wanna see how iphone will be in real and i am fully satisfied n worth spendin on IPod Touch..its true wi airtel or vodaphone iphone will b fully unloked yu can use any sim ..motion games is totally new experience )) better then pressing buttons ..overall gr8 gadget ))

                                well iphone is amazing i got one my self and i am only 13 i just think
                                that people who say iphone is rubbish are people who dont like touch phones
                                or simply jealuzz n cant or not Alowed to get one that is simpli the only reason btw i am using it right now to type and it fabouls and total worth me saving up ;)

                                  this iphone is built cheap, but sell very expensive, just go for nokia s40 phone, far cheaper, far faster, btw the name NOKIA is aready far better than apple, name of mobile GOD

                                      65k isn't it, I prefer 16 million colours, besides HTC phones are way too expensive.

                                      It's also got WinMo which still is a BIG negative.
