anyone knows what CPU the 3GS is using?? is it better than the Samsung S5L8900 620 MHz processor used on 3G?

If you look at N97 forum and see how many iboy bashing & mocking there whereas they can do it in their own children forum, you would've understood. now look at apple new specs.. i don't have to laugh. it's a harvest time for what iboy have said, all returning back to their mouth.

basically this is a marketing strategy.
u design a phone. with the full capabilities at 1st.
BUT when releasing the 1st version, u take out 70% of it's functions. as time goes. u release version 2, 3,4 and so on. as the new versions releases, u add some of the originally designed functions to it.
so in a way. if u sell a phone at 100% of it's function right at 1st, u earn only once from a particular customer. but as u slowly "upgrade", pple will still buy the phone, and thus u earn 2 or 3 times from the same customer.
every phone do have it's flaws. but ya. certain functions that are easily available on other phones are not found on the Iphone. but on the other hand, Iphone do one thing that others do not have. the apple store. thats well another place to rip off their customers.
i would say the apple corp marketing staffs are really good at making money.
but for the phone so far, the exact specs are not out. so.. we can't really say for sure, that the old problems that Iphone 3G has will still be on this new 3GS.
p.s: im a iphone owner as well. and im not proud of it. went back to my N95(8GB) after about a mth with the iphone.

With this kind of upgrade, probably Apple might lose out. I know Apple can do better than that but it ...... just let most of it's fans done.

But I seriously don't find what's the point of producing a new phone which looks exactly the same like the old one, just a couple of minor upgrades. Probably they should have waited till next year where they can really produce a phone which is better than the 3G S.

people for peeps sake DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUT THE IPHONE, need proof why not to buy look at the last two models i live in europe and half the people i know from holland to spain ,germany and back ar sorry they ever waisted money on this thing. people let me remind you no FLASH on the cam (a little 2002 for me)the bluethooth did not work most of the time, the browser was no fun, wifi connection often poor, speakers die first.
scratch resisten glass (only nokia can deliver with saphire glass). in Holland there were such bad reviews about this phone that only t-mobile has them, and within the first month 40% of all buyers came back with serious software and hardware problems.
please peeps im telling you the only thing that apple has going for us is scams with high prices for low quality not only with the iphone but also with the ipod (sony and CowonD2 rule).
not to mention the new specs on this phone are old specs compare to all the other phones out there in my book its either Nokia or BlackBerry that set the standarts (dont get me wrong i love lg sony ext.
folow some friendly advise if you want to do something good with your money give it to charity NOT TO APPLE THIEFS!!!

Most of us always believed iphone was overrated since its launch. 2) Many "Have" used it before hating
3) Since we know its specs and can compare we can judge and critisise it

I tell u what Samantha, how about u compare the 3G S side-by-side on GSM arena with N97, Omnia HD, Satio (idou)and LG Arena etc. U would understand what the bashing is all about.

I earlier heard that the present version of i phone 3g will be updated with latest changes? Will it be? What will be the cost in India? Eagerly looking for but still loves the present i phone 3g. Will change only if finds drastic changes.

most all smart phones have the same tools (features). However, the iphone is still pupolar because it has luxury look...in my opinion.

first iphone came out from apple in 2007 the rate for it was around 8.5 second iphone in 2008 rate for it was 7 2009 rate is around 6 next year will be 4? apple u pissed off every person waiting ur new iphone .
